CompTIA Server + (SK0-005) (Udemy.com)

First off, the one guy introduced the subject of GPUs and the instructor proceeds to talk about RAM. Secondly, he says that USB 4 is 40 Gigabyte per second when it's really 40 gigabit per second. This is not a good first impression. I'm supposed to be learning from this guy and yet he could stand to learn a few things from me. I hope this kind of thing isn't common for this instructor. Hopefully he just misspoke.

You guys were definitely goofy, but I will say that I did pass my Server+ exam. I used this course, combined with the All-In-One Server+ book. Thanks for helping me through it! I’d for sure be interested in more content from you two.

Dies ist ein guter Kurs, der einem einen sehr guten Überblick über die Erfordernisse der Praxis gibt. Es hätte aber mehr auf die Erfordernisse der der Comptia Server+ Prüfung eingegangen werden können. Wertvoll macht den Kurs, dass er bei udemy der einzige Kurs ist, bei dem sich echte Menschen vor die Kamera stellen, anstatt das eine mehr oder weniger einschläfernde Stimme zu mehr oder weniger passenden Grafiken und Icons spricht! Der Hauptsprecher, Brian, findet sich "etwas geil" in seiner Hauptrolle, während Ronny, etwas untergeordnet ist, in seiner Rolle, als Anchor. Brian hätte meistens noch etwas ruhiger agieren können (Vertripper bei Befehlseingabe), dann würde das theoretische Niveau noch professioneller wirken. Super-cool wäre, beim Sprechen über Komponenten, die vor sich auf dem Tisch zu haben. Auch wenn man das meiste davon, aus A+ schon kennen sollte, sieht wohl manchen am Server doch anders aus. Davon abgesehen, der beste Server+ Kurs hier!

This is the best Server+ course available. They explain each topic and back up challenging topics with real life examples. This should be a 5 star course. The only things I would change is including high quality notes to follow along with. (they might have them I didn't look that hard lol). Excellent course and worth every penny.

I have 20 years in IT experience and felt I could pass the CompTIA Server+ without much study. However, I am glad I purchased this class. There are more than just "how to rack" a server and "how to load" a server in the questions. There is a lot on the lifecycle management, procurement, lengths between downtime and uptime (more than just a percentage) that is measured that the test will ask you about, and I did not know about. This course covers it, and I can say I REALLY enjoyed the teaching format. They made this very fun to watch and entertaining. I would recommend to someone before taking the CompTIA Server+ even if you have experience. Lots of Project Management lingo you need to hear and get a grabs of before the test that is covered here.

I am currently studying for Server+ and got the study book for it but was having a hard time sitting down and getting my nose in the book. I found this course on sale and decided to give it a shot, and it has cut my study time in half and helped me get a better understanding on all of the concepts covered in the course rather than having to read through hundreds of dry textbook pages!

This course is great! It went over nearly all the content within the four major objectives of Server+. I'm still going to use the COMPTIA Server+ book to brush up on subjects needing further clarification. Taking the test in 2-Days. I feel confident. Overall 5-Star Course.

The way the guys explain things is really thorough. I like the fact it was recorded live because let's face it, life is live and mistakes happen. Its good to see things happen as if they we're in the real world. Also, the visuals and wording that is used makes it easy to understand. They present the material in a more relaxed way that you don't feel as if you have the typical "boring professor" type lecture. I will definitely be looking for more learning from them. I recommend this to anyone!!!

This is a much better Server+ course than I previously tried on Udemy. These guys are pretty engaging too. It's not difficult to get through a twenty-minute video at a time. Update: I passed the cert using this course, a book, and practice exams, along with actual field experience on servers. This was the foundational piece for me.

The teaching styles are a perfect match for me. Although, throughout the videos they mention that show notes will be posted. I have not seen one show notes/links, etc. In in any of the videos. This needs to be addressed.
