The first part of the course will get students acquainted with some basic concepts used in programming and will lay the conceptual groundwork that the rest of the course will build upon. After learning the basic terms and concepts of computer programming, the next two sections of the course allow students to practice these concepts hand-on.
Students will follow along with basic examples in two programming languages: Python and JavaScript. Both languages are easy for beginners to learn and are very user friendly. This course wont make you an expert programmer, but it will give you an exciting first look at programming and a foundation of basic concepts with which you can start your journey learning computer programming.
