Course Description

This course focuses on WIndows based app development for Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone. We will use the FREE version of Visual Studio 2013 Express or the community version for this class. This is an introductory level course that also focuses on the basics of programming logic.
The course has roughly 2 hours of video content and requires additional outside work for you to be able to create some of the apps on your own. This course is structured with short topical videos related to a particular programming concept, followed by videos that demonstrate the use of the content within an app or program.

Great course for learning the basics of programming w/ Visual Studio 2013.

I really enjoyed this course. It was to the point. All the things I needed to know were presented clearly and were to the point and easy to follow. In less that an hour I had several simple Windows apps developed and running.

Now it is just a matter of taking what I learned and creating my own apps

The content covered all of the basics and were easy to understand the topics presented.

The videos sounded fine the presentations need a little more color. but the content was clearly presented and explained by the instructor.

The deliver method was to the point and engaging, I liked the fact there were challenges to test what I learned and he also provided answers or samples of the completed challenges so I could see the problems I had in a couple of the projects and saw what I did wrong.
