Short intro to Unreal Engine. Maybe too focused on art/level design without going at all into programming but it's well explained and doesn't lose too much time.

In Blueprint I am still confused, because I am still early in learning it, but little by little, I can understand about Blueprint, I still have to practice a lot, thank you unf, for providing this simple game creation tutorial

It was good, for an one hour, free course. It would had been nice there was an explanation of how the moving platform can return to its starting point, sometime after it becomes physics enabled and falls down.

They are focusing on practical and introducing info at a good pace. Not over explaining things that are common sense, like a mouse cursor, nor moving so quickly that i have to constantly pause the video. well done

As a complete novice to UE5, I found this course to be extremely helpful, and the duration of the videos are perfect. Unfortunatly, there were times when it become frustrating becauseI couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong at certain points. Class 8 and 12 gave me the biggest issue so it took me a couple of days to sort them out, but this is probably down to my lack of knowledge, and knowing how t trouble shoot. If you get stuck my advice would be not to source extra help from the internet; because the way others do their blueprints may conflict with UE5 commands, and how this course is teaching you (from experience), and then nothing will happen. I recommend following the course through to the end, and you will eventually achieve the desired result.

There are some fun features for a complete beginner. As an experienced fullstack developer though, I had the constant feeling, throughout the video, that there was no consistency between the features shown. Alltogether, it's a nice way to start from somewhere!

---- :-) The excellence of this course is that it is short and introduces the very essential mechanisms of the Unreal Engine. Based on this, you can easily create your own game or animation. Using the Spline method is more efficient than the Sequence method, as it is easier to position Spline nodes in space in any arrangement. Some interesting and simple Unreal Engine capabilities are also shown.

It's a good way to get your feet wet as far as making games in Unreal 5. Definitely not a resource to rely on for making a full-fledged game, but a good intro if you have absolutely no idea where to start.

By Travis Fenn on 5/20/2023

As someone with very little experience in Unreal prior to taking this course, I found it to be extremely helpful and enjoyable. Blueprints are intimidating and taking small steps, like in this course, can be particularly helpful. Thank you!

It's quite overwhelming to learn Unreal from scratch and I feel like quitting but the tutorial is quite easy to follow ,has a slow enough tempo and really tries to explain the basics well for a complete beginner .
