To be honest i have been procrastinating learning CSS after i learned HTML and HTML5 because it looked really complicated. That was not the case in this course, the instructor made learning CSS really easy i was shocked at how simple it actually was. Between each lesson is a task in code that they get you to do that i found to be very helpful with the hands on and understanding. If you are starting to learn coding in web development i would suggest this course for learning CSS.. in 4-5 hours you will have the skills to move on to javascript.

As I am not an absolute beginner I understood everything but I think actual beginners might find it confusing. An outro for the course would have been nice. Overall I learned new things. Thank you!

It was a nice course to practice CSS. This is not a very beginner level course. If you have some basic knowledge of CSS, then it will be a great course to take.

Hard to follow with the video at times since he was live coding. Also the instructor was using dreamweaver which auto populated some terms, which we did not have that advantage in the coding exercise.

Short course thus limited. But includes the most common elements and also how to select child and siblings etc that many other courses does not teach.

I did learn a few things about CSS throughout this course. One thing that helped me the most is the Quiz - students are required to complete quizzes after each lesson, that way the concepts being explained would "stick". However, I would've given this course a 5 star mark if Laurence had been more prepared - I could see from the videos that sometimes he wasn't prepared - the videos were edited and from the student's point of view (mine), it made the explanations slightly confusing - especially for a total beginner like me. All in all, if you're a beginner like me and took this course, I'm pretty sure that you'll still learn a few things about CSS - and so this course would still be beneficial and not a total waste of your time.

Actually kind of accelerated for 101, or at least the instructor seems to be on a fast pace as I try to follow along. I'm still a beginner. Lots of good information, I should probably go through again at a later date. Thank goodness for lifetime access! Four stars: -1 for not fulfilling all of the items listed in course description.

Just one thing to point out. I have read many times that using the "!important" marker is not a good practice and should be avoid. Just google for this and you can see for yourself. Otherwise, very good course.

The flow and content of the course was fairly good. The delivery of the course was a little slow for my concentration. But other than that, it was good.
