Dart & Flutter - Zero to Mastery [2025] + Clean Architecture (Udemy.com)

The explanation of clean architecture is really solid and helped me understand how to write code at an abstract level. I appreciate the instructor’s strong technical knowledge. However, Sections 8 and 9 were difficult to follow—the teaching style in those parts wasn't very engaging, which made it hard to stay focused. Improving the delivery in these sections would really enhance the course overall. Despite that, I’ve learned a lot about architecture and feel more confident in structuring my Flutter projects. Thank you!

The instructors are highly knowledgeable and provide clear explanations, covering everything from fundamental concepts to advanced topics. I had some reservations before purchasing due to earlier reviews mentioning audio issues, but I’m happy to report that those concerns have been addressed. The audio quality is good now, making it easy to follow along with the instructors. Highly recommended!

I had to give up on Section 8. Some of the course is good, all things considered. Sections 6 and 7 are pretty bad, and make clean architecture difficult to understand with all of the jumping around and poor explanation. Section 8 is particularly bad. What a mess. Jumping around all over the place, so little explanation on things, just hurry up and copy Max's code. Most of the way through Section 8, Max Steffen's loud gulping and swallowing made me sick twice, so I had to quit. I think I'm even more confused on the concept of clean architecture than the experience I had with it before the course.

This course is mind-blowing! Section 6 is just wow - it's the best. I've finally grasped the concept of clean architecture. Before this, understanding it was a disaster for me. Even if I didn't get it on the first try, now I have a clear understanding. I'm really looking forward to proceeding with Sections 7, 8, and 9! I don't mind the sound or minor editing issues, because the content is like a gem to me. I might agree that the section on Dart is a bit short and not so easy for beginners to follow, but well, if Sections 7, 8, and 9 are as valuable as Section 6, then this course is a gem! I swear.

I have preferred this course over other most popular courses and I am happy about my decision. I really liked the course from both presenters, I am absolutely enjoying this while learning new stuff doing in new ways. I liked Bloc and Clean Architecture with Testing sections. I hear golden test for the first time. All others sections are also useful in some or another way. Though, yet to complete todo app sections. Thanks Both of You! It would have been great if To-Do app also contains detailed implementation of real test cases. Hope to see in updated version of this course!

The instructors set challenges to test your understanding of the introduction to dart and flutter chapters, and some of them require you to go off and research how to do things. It is good to have to think for yourself and they check your answers for you afterwards and make suggestions. The section chapter on Bloc/Cubit is outstanding. The best I've seen online and I finally feel like I have my head around Bloc architecture and will be able to implement it in my own projects.

This course was fine. But it should be named not "from zero" because some background in Flutter you must have. I had this background, so I understood all well. Especially I liked the chapter about Clean architecture and testing. Thank you for this course, guys.

Honestly, this is the course on Flutter where I learned the most. It starts with the basics, then teaches clean architecture, and finishes with all important aspects on Flutter testing. At the end I have written a complete app, a simple app, yet I could exercise all important concepts covered in the course. And there is a Discord channel where I can keep connection with the authors and the community. Thanks Max & Max!

I really enjoyed the course and learned a lot of stuff about Flutter, what got me to get this course and not the others was the energy and enthusiasm of the teachers and the actuality of the framework and tools used. A bit slow sometimes but setting the speed to 1.25x really did the job. Great work both of you on this course!

I joined this course without any prior experience in Dart/Flutter (although I am fluent in JS & TS) and my expectations were all fulfilled. The course is well designed and easy to follow. I have now a good understanding of the syntax and the logic to apply when using Dart & Flutter. Now I can use this knowledge to develop further on my own. A few recommendations for further improvements: - Improve the audio, I can barely hear you on the speakers of my laptop at full volume - If you plan to add new sections to your course in the future, I'd love to see how you design an app with menus, bottom sheets, etc... Also it would be very valuable to learn how to save data in the phone's memory and how to integrate Firebase. Examples with (for example) Maps, Search or Google Drive integration would also be extremely useful.
