Design stunning Social Media Marketing Images with Photoshop (Udemy.com)

This course was amazing! It took me from absolute newb to making really cool advertisement graphics for my company in a really short amount of time. What I liked best about it is that the resources (fonts and graphics) are included and you can follow along and create the same design each lesson. And at the end of each lesson there is a free-time section to create YOUR OWN design using your own resources. If you're a hands-on, repetition type learner I definitely recommend this class. My only complaint was the font spacing seemed to change between lessons but photoshop keeps the spacing from the last project and it wasn't explicitly pointed out each lesson. My advice would be just keep an eye on it and if he doesn't tell you a specific spacing then just leave it on Auto. Otherwise, fantastic course!

I think the instructor goes really fast, may be he can slower his pace while giving instructions, so that we can catch up to what needs to be done.

While I did find the course helpful and informative, I do think it was at times hard to follow. The instructor sometimes went through things a little too quickly (I needed to pause and rewind the videos A LOT) and relied way too much on shortcuts. I know that shortcuts are an essential part of using Photoshop quickly and efficiently, however a beginner will not be able to master using them as quickly as was shown in this course. I think it would have been helpful to show both the shortcut and the longer way to complete certain tasks multiple times to allow the user to master them. I was also disappointed that I was not able to complete one of the projects because the original unedited image was not provided. In section 55 (Modern Fashion), the "Fashion" JPEG was already edited. It made it so that I could only watch this section and not actually demonstrate the skill being taught. Overall I thought the instructor was knowledgeable but the course itself was just okay.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course. Juan's way of teaching is interesting, insightful, extremely informative, and engaging. I learned key tools and methods of working with Photoshop through this course. Juan made it easy for beginners like me to understand the basics as well as show us easy and quick ways to create stunning creatives. Thank you for this valuable course.

Very good course for the person just wanting to know the basics of Photoshop without having to go into all the details. Brilliant for the novice who wants to learn to design great social media ads with Photoshop. Nice and simple but very effective.

The projects in this course are not only FUN & CREATIVE; they are applicable to "real world " design scenarios. You can tell that the instructor took a lot of time & effort into developing this course. Very happy I took it!!

I have learnt a lot. Specially in terms of using shortcuts and some other techniques to speed up my work. Something that I was expecting and haven't seen yet is projects adapted to different Social Media platformas. I thought there would be Projects for facebook profile and cover photo and even timeline. Juan's course is great for beginners. I went from knowing nothing to feeling confident to start out creating my own designs. As with every piece of software, if you don't use it regularly it's easy to forget, but this course provides great explanation, step by step exercises to follow and cement the learning as you go, and Juan is great at explaining and helping the novice navigate some key elements of photoshop. Highly recommended!

Loved the projects as well as the teaching style. It's a great course that will help you learn new techniques in Photoshop or simply refresh your knowledge in Photoshop. I loved the approach of learning new things by working on realistic projects, the thought process and the getting things done process are well explained. Great job!
