Develop Minecraft Plugins (Java) (Udemy.com)

I still have much to learn; just finished up the "Java Basics" section. It took me a while because I watched the videos, took the quiz, then spent a lot of time on my own going over the resources and playing around with the material within Intellij. So far, I do feel like this has helped me understand Java a lot more and I am looking forward to the future.

Great information even if it is very dated at this point. The instructor provides a great deal of external links to go teach myself on, however, the Java portion of the class itself is very thin. The instructor FLIES (speaks) through the content and no way to reinforce what is "learned" before more is piled on. Then we hit the plugin section. Even after reading most of the provided external links - the concepts taught earlier will be missing from the skillset needed. The course is great, but needs to be developed more and the instructor needs to slow down. I worked through it, but even the IDE extension has changed a great deal. With all that said, I did enjoy the course. 3 star for what is there and the instructor speaking so fast that I turned it to .75 speed and listened that garbled mess for a few hours.

The lecture is very useful and easy to understand for beginners who do not understand the basic structure of Java. I recommend everyone to buy it because it is worth it. I hope the creator of this lesson will give more instructions about the version. Spigot 1.8.8 has some lectures that cannot be implemented in that version (/>.

As I just finished watching the whole course. I can say I have learned a lot and I have improved tremendously in creating plugins. There's are sometimes some questionable things or confusing things in the lectures but overall this is one of the best courses out there for Minecraft plugin development. Whenever I had an issue or a question, Stephen or people from this discord helped me out pretty well. Definitely would recommend this course.

I honestly cannot put into words how much of a must have this course is. A couple things id like to say is how well Stephen can teach his ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and concise way is mind blowing and His teaching style is clear and easy to follow. Stephen hands-on approach to teaching really allows you to understand the code you are writing. Overall, I am extremely grateful to Stephen for creating this course and would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning how to create plugins. First of all I want to thank you for all the lectures you have worked on and prepared for us. I'm literally obsessed with this course. And the updates you work on from time to time are amazing. But I wanted to ask if NMS/Packets is getting continued soon, because it is the hardest topic to learn by yourself. But still, only love for this amazing course. Best Regards.

This. Is. The. Best. Course. I've been owning this course for a few months now, and it has been the best. At first, despite knowing about some other OO languages, I didn't know ANYTHING about Java. The transition might have been a lot harder, but the instructor's lectures helped me know what I was doing in the later lectures. He also made it extremely easy to follow along with his lectures, so I could actually process what was happening instead of being a person who just writes some code really fast without explaining what it does. In the end, this course is always helpful, and despite my still learning, I hope to see more updates from this course!

I found this so helpful and very easy to understand since I had an understanding of the Java language.
I would recommend this to any one that is wanting to give coding as a Minecraft developer shot.
