DIY Music Business 101 - Learn about the New Music Industry (Udemy.com)

This course has helped me feel more confident to post stuff online in a professional manner easily, and I'm grateful to have been shown some of the resources I can use to do so!

Thanks a lot sir Tomas and sir Christopher for this wonderful course, now I am fully confident about how the music business works and can now launch my career in the industry with the understanding of it. I am certain that with this knowledge of how to do music business the right way, i will be successful in it, and I will always remember that I was thought by great legends.

So far, so good. I think my only suggestion at this midway point would be that the transcripts need to be edited. Speech-to-voice changes a lot of things, sometimes. I'm learning a lot and taking notes in addition to those valuable transcripts.

The videos are too short and don't go as deep in the subject matter as I was hoping. Also, not super engaging having a person speaking into a microphone in front of a black background.

A very useful bunch of tips, tricks, advises covering royalties, PRO and copyrights, pre-release steps, several monetization solutions, even outsourcing with freelancers etc etc.. I will personally try this freelancer competition thing a.s.a.p. for my upcoming release cover design :) Thank you Tomas & Christopher..

The information is there but not very well structured, this is a complicated subject which needs clarification to understand and it doesn’t feel like this course is completely clearing up the latent confusion that comes with the topic

I found new ways to market and brand my ideas. I'm glad I purchased this course. Marketing and promoting also understanding The Business Of Music quickly and concisely, a must if you are an indie artist -Johanan

This Series is addressing the next steps I need to be taking to protect my interests in the contemporary music field - both as a artist and a songwriter. I highly recommend it!

What a fantastic course! These guys cover everything! I thought I was going to get the same old social media lecture everyone else and their cousin gives. Nope, I got information I have not heard anywhere else. Practical, good advice. I have so much more to consider now that I'm going to retool my approach to marketing my own music. Great content. Personally I missed some information on sync agencies and royalties involving film music making for licencing.
