This is Tomas George's long-running Logic Pro course, first published in 2016 and still being updated, most recently in August 2026. The syllabus shows 495 lectures across 51 sections, about 53 hours in all, and it walks through nearly every corner of the app: Apple Loops, Live Loops, MIDI, the Step Sequencer, Session Players and the Chord Track from Logic Pro 11 and 12, recording, mixing, Flex Time, the Mastering Assistant, and long stretches on the built-in synths. It's pitched at all levels, and reviewers who are new to Logic and those who already use it both say they got something out of it.

The praise in the reviews we sampled is consistent: lessons are clear, easy to follow, and build on each other. One singer-songwriter who already used Logic says he picked up shortcuts and faster ways of working. The complaints are worth hearing. One three-star review says section 6 suddenly jumps to an older version of Logic with weaker video, which is a fair knock on a course that has been patched for ten years. Another finds the pace quick early on and didn't expect a MIDI keyboard to come up so soon. A four-star reviewer wanted a full lesson on panning and placing instruments in a mix.

Value comes down to breadth. The syllabus reads as a reference to dip into rather than a single build-along, and the 53 hours will feel like a lot if all you want is to record a demo. It sits beside a similar Logic Pro X guide on our list; this one was updated in August 2026 and covers the Logic Pro 11 and 12 additions. So far I've found the pace to be rather quick, and it's tricky to toggle between the video and my workspace in Logic. I also didn't anticipate the MIDI keyboard recommendations so soon. I'm a guitarist, and right now, I'm feeling a bit lost. That said, it's early, and I do think the course has great potential.

Easy and slow enough to follow. Good clear videos and sound is clear. Instructions are detailed and narrator explains where everything is and alternatives. I also like the way he gives you examples of scenarios about why you would need to do something like this or that. Good tips too.
