FL Studio - Music Production + Mixing Music -Complete Course (Udemy.com)

This course was really helpful as a beginner course. They cover a lot of material from inserting sounds all the way up to EQ and mastering. I would say while they give you the general process of EQ and mastering, the course is not meant to be a deep dive into the best ways to implement mixing and mastering. But for getting the general idea of how mixing and mastering work this is a good place to start!

I’ve owned FL Sudio since FL Studio 7 and for years I had trouble learning it and all the other resources I purchased were either boring or overly complicated. So I eventually gave up. But this course is just what I needed. I don’t feel overwhelmed anymore and I feel like I know this DAW like the back of my hand. Plus, now I have the knowledge to be able to express myself more creatively than I ever cpuld in the past. Let this course also be your breakthrough moment like it was for me. You won’t regret it!

I believe you should've used automations a but more complex arrangements. Even a few actual projects of yours that you produced for a client or songs that you released as a producer would've helped more. I liked all the video about nobs and all small details about the FL Studio, and Synthesis. Thank you! I've definitely learned something new.

The content in this course is solid, but the structure is flawed for a true beginner. Introducing deep MIDI concepts in the first few sections is a mistake. 99% of absolute beginners start with just a laptop and a mouse. By focusing on MIDI protocols and hardware setup right away, the course creates an unnecessary barrier. If you just want to start clicking in beats and learning the interface. But after section 4 I am forced to buy a MIDI keyboard and I have to wait until tomorrow. That's why I give it a 2.5 star. The course is useless for 'absolute beginners' or they are ready to afford a MIDI keyboard. But I opened FL Studios and bought this course for the first time. I Don't have anything like a MIDI keyboard. So it is very annoying to get a barrier after working 2-3 hours in the course. I didn't expect an external instrument to study an absolute beginner course in FL Studio. A beginner to expert course shouldn't have any external instruments to study a software in my opinion even the section 1-3 are very excellent for beginners. It can't be called a 'beginner course' if external instruments are used without warning that you need a MIDI for section 4 and the others. This course is worth buying and content is top notch. the explainations in every videos are practical and straight forward that you can understand easy. practical examples are in their resources. The issues that have with the course is that, it doesn't cover the remaining stock plugin instruments and effects such as sytrus, sakura, poizone, bassdrum, harmless, gms, delay 3, blood overdrive, maximus, soundgoodizer, transient processor, flangus, chorus, flanger, phaser, gross beat and many others. the second issue is that, could have liked the course to have added more details in making genres of music in the course and also would like have learnt other genres of music such as metal, rock, pop, RnB and other genres of electronic music. the last issue is music theory. I wish that music theory section should have more content in it. since it is essential knowledge to learn and have. Overall, best course out there. I could like Thomas and Ian to make other DAW music production courses such as Cubase and Reason. I would love get in enrolled in.

Very slow pace and very little explanation about why to use certain functions. It would be better to provide more structured overview about the workflows. The course is extremely extensive and covers all aspects of FL Studio in every detail.

A very well organised, structured and comprehensive course. I really feel the intervenant masters his subject and teach us in a very clear way. The information taught is clearly organized. I like how the lectures are in bite size videos. I find it is easier to go back and watch them again when they are like this. Cleary the two Instructors know their stuff. I am now starting to write basic songs in Fl Studio on my MacBook Pro.

I've learned a lot with this course. When I started I had basic knowledge and now I am able to create my own music from scratch.
