I thought the course was instructive and easy to follow. Tomas emphasizes and repeats important elements of theory while introducing new things which helps when revisiting different lectures. I found it geared towards electronic DAW music but there's certainly useful tips that can be applied to all music.

Just what i expected. I studied music when I was younger, but years passed and I forgor almost everything, specially when it comes to scales, chords, etc... this was a nice quick way to remember all this stuff. I would recommend it to all that people that makes, os is starting to make, modern music, that actually want to know wtf they're doing when composing. Also, having this kind of knowledge will help you out when you're stuck and run out of ideas. Also, its kind of pathetic calling yourself a musician or a producer, and not having an actual clue about music theory. It's like calling yourlself an engineer just cause you build legos, but you have no clue about materials, physics, maths.... so yeah, recommended indeed.

Instructor presented material in an easy-to-follow manner and demonstrated the concepts at every step. Superior class!

Solid course, I learned a ton and things were broken down and easy to understand. The only thing I'd break down sooner and with more emphasis is the "why" behind music theory and why its really important. He does this well, but I did have to watch a few youtube videos to really understand the vital importance of theory. He really makes the why important later in song analysis but it takes a while to get there. Great class though, I'll be taking a few more.

This course has been good so far. It is difficult to find a starting point for me because I have some experience with music but I am by no means an expert. The introduction lectures were clear and concise which is very helpful and time saving
