I have been a coach and teacher for most of my life, training students both young and old.  In my 26 years of experience as an Expert Diagnostic and Repair Technician for Automotive Dealerships, I was the go to guy for vehicles with problems that no one else could fix, as well as a Shop Foreman and Instructor of fellow technicians.  More recently, I have educated students for almost 10 years as an Instructor of Automotive, Electrical, and Electronics systems at a Technical School in NY.  While there I received a Recognition Award as Top Instructor for being able to get through to students that others thought could not succeed.

To me Teaching should be about:

Getting the Students Involved in the Learning Experience.

Lecturing with a Purpose, not just to show how much you know.

Teaching in a way that lets students realize “I can do this”, not how hard it is.

This was an excellent introductory course. I would have given it 5 stars, but I always prefer when they show actual footage of the vehicle so you can translate what you are seeing on the schematic with what it would actually look like in real life. Otherwise, the instructor is an excellent teacher. I would also have preferred that the course was a little longer with a few more examples.

It is a long time since I tried to get to grips with electrical theory but I failed miserably until now. This is the first course I have ever undertaken where I finally understood the basics of electrical circuits. Steve is a fantastic tutor who simplifies the thinking and teaches in a very relaxed and informative fashion which is perfectly paced for the novice.

This is exactly what you need to learn in order to troubleshoot car problems. If you don't understand the schematic diagrams, you will never be able to diagnose a problem correctly. This course is worth every penny.

This course is very simple and easy but it has all important concepts well explained. If it were more circuits for practice analyzed and get a little bit deeper about electrical fundamentals, if would be perfect for a beginner.

Helps you to get started in diagnosing circuits. Gives you the basic foundation needed and can be used in other areas not only in automotive. Theory is important but practical knowledge comes first. This course helps you with the practical knowledge.
