Nice black & white conversion using simple tools . Breaking the myth that black & white images are very difficult to make . Also it is very interesting to learn the skills that make BW images better than color ones.

I really enjoyed the course. I learned how to do a lot better with my B&W pictures. She is really good to explain everything you need to know including things that you shouldn't do in the conversion of your pictures to B&W. Even that, in the beginning, sounds like she is telling you all the techniques you should not do before telling the things you should do, just listen to her because you will learn what not to use and the reasons why.

Es bueno, pero perdemos tiempo en todas las explicaciones que no sirven.

Well discussed concepts, clear english audio. A deep tour with the color theory and black&white conversion. Several tool can be used for different workflow and good guide for masking and layers. Many examples of complete post processing from source colour image to a black and white converted image. I'm very happy to complete this course, so I can do a b&w conversion much better. 5 stars!!!

Not knowing anything about Photoshop, Kasia is easy to understand and she proceeds through the lectures slowly and carefully . As I am going through the course I am finding that what I wanted to learn is exactly what Kasia is teaching. It is important to review each course to see what they are teaching. In my case it is what I was looking for and learning quickly and efficiently what I wanted to learn.

This was a very good course. Although I've done some b/w conversions in the past, they always seemed to end up flat, uninspiring, or somehow just 'off'. Kasia's techniques taught me not to be so heavy handed, and that not every ounce of detail is relevant to the story one is attempting to tell. I will be taking more of her courses in the future. Thank you!

This is a pretty amazing course. This may appear to be a recipe type tutorial, but it is not. She teaches you how to slowly build up great looking black and white photos using a set of tools that she commonly uses at her disposal and goes through various images that explore her thought process on improving an image. While there is a process in place that is similar for each photo, the gems come from how to look at a photo and embellish it with your own creative eye. Great course!

Thank you for giving me the skills to improve my black and white photography. Your techniques were explained in such a manner so as I was able to use them and see the result and improvement from the first image. thank you again. You are an great instructor.
By Szymon Siarkiewicz on 4/11/2016
Very well structured, easy to follow and as promised - “packed” with high quality photographs taken by Kasia. Either if you are just at the beginning of your adventure into b&w photography, or you are well accustomed with the subject - you will be satisfied. I’m not new to Photoshop, and being a big fan of b&w photos I had pretty high expectations. Taking this course inspired me to experiment with new techniques and I really love the supporting materials provided generously by the author. Can’t wait for her next course!
