Introduction to Excel VBA Programming
Excel VBA programming can seem baffling, especially when you don't fully understand the code you are asked to write. Learn to write Excel VBA macros, from scratch, to automate Microsoft Excel tasks and operations.
This course is aimed particularly at Excel users without much programming experience, who struggle to remember the syntax and structure of the VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) programming language.
During the introductory section, you will be introduced to a style of programming which emphasizes the significance of each line of code that you write. This means that when you revisit the code, the meaning of each line is apparent from the syntax, rather than becoming more and more unfamiliar. I love the information. The example workbooks were awesome. However, the instructor hasn't answered questions in years. The audio quality on a couple videos, and the lack of transcripts, made the presentation useless. I would still recommend the course based on the information. After looking at other courses, this one is definitely at the top in terms of content, explaining the nitty gritty, and developing good coding habits.

I started the course "Hyper-disambiguated Excel VBA Programming" with part 2. But I soon realized that I had some gaps in my knowledge. That's why I booked part 1 also. That course teaches structured macro programming. It is explained in some videos based on overview pictures, what the programming is based on, e.g., on the VBA object model or the Excel object model. Mr. Gamble explains each step comprehensibly and understandable. The given programming examples are applicable in the real world. Great! From my point of view, both courses can be highly recommended.

This course started off just as I expected. I could not stop doing the first few lessons! It was so rewarding to finally understand VBA in such a functional manner. I enjoyed the pace at which the first few lessons were delivered. However, I found that the last module of lessons so far were too rushed and I honestly did not appreciate codes appearing at warp speed, forcing me to rush and stop the video in a semi-panic every few minutes. Taking time presenting the codes make way more sense than rushing! I am hoping there is a change of pace in the remaining lessons. Everything else about this course has exceeded expectations. I am learning way more than I ever did in VBA. This course is thorough, exciting and rewarding at the same time.
