while entertaining, and mildly informative on the features of spitfire libraries, the course is woefully inadequate on composing techniques, exercises or substantive "training" or learning materials.

Anyone who wants to buy this can ignore the 1-3 star reviews. The 1-2 are lies. The 3 star is taken care of, and though he doesn't go much into modes, the point he made on it is correct. For anyone who wants to buy this, let's start with who it is NOT for... If you don't know how music is made, nor music theory: I suggest you learn those first. They'll help you the most, but do remember that that's all THEORY. Those are guidelines to help make your music better, and you should break them when it suits your needs. WHO THIS IS FOR... I already knew, and did a number of things the teacher said, and beyond... But there were some gaps in my knowledge, and hearing his thoughts while making music for real scenes helped me a lot (section 4). I came across parts in there where I was like "oh yeah, duh, why didn't I think of that?". My whole goal for getting this course was to make music for a how to video, instead of buying music for it (which I can do, but I like improving my skills). And since the cuts in there are in places you wouldn't expect (just like a movie), sticking to a 4/4 time signature with notes on exact spots, etc. doesn't really make sense because it's more chaotic. I should now have no problem finishing the music for it. If I were to improve this course, the only thing I would do is tell people to make their own chart of emotions, and patterns to follow to get particular emotions through music. Such as use X modes, Y beats, and Z instruments for whatever emotion you need. Granted, that would all based on your opinion, but it will probably help you. There were a couple videos of the course where he did that with about 5-6 emotions I think, but it wasn't detailed. Even so, if you've learned enough music theory, you should be able to make that chart yourself, and I got what I was looking for by buying this course.

I found this incredibly boring. I think it's his robotic voice. It is also very difficult to understand not only the narrator but the fact that all the cubase settings etc are not in English. The course does not go into enough detail. The score in module 2 lacked any leimotif. It was like it was a random notes being played.

Una excelente experiencia, muy bien explicado todo, Baudilio abarca la música desde lo que se quieres transmitir ya sea alguna emoción o sensación llevando al compositor a sacar el lado más natural y humano al momento de componer. 100% Recomendado!

It’s not detailed about precision rhythmic and mode of the music …..
