This course, for me is unbelievable. I'm 71 years old and have been messing with guitar since forever. I have been stuck in the intermediate stage mainly because what i learn never seems to stick with me. I can play pretty much anything from sheet music or tab but never had a list of memorized songs. Working through this course the music is transported into my brain and muscle memory like no other method i have ever tried. For me in particular, the course was very basic. The tabs he provided at least for the while my guitar gently weeps, was not in a nice format.

Excellent teacher. He purposely makes us to a lot of exercises that allow the student to be able to work the fingers and thumbs independent of each other. The finger style approach can not be realized until the students fingers and thumb movements are independent of each other. It takes lots of time to get the plasticity of our brains needs time to develop the level of thumb and finger separation which finger style guitar playing requires. Excellent teacher. There is little wasted time during the entire course. It is very well focused on learning this method. i would rate this course as 5.0, it is well focused. Thank you very much.

The teacher is very methodical. It is an intense course. It is helping me to learn fingerstyle. The exercises in the first sections are very helpful. The songs he has chosen are beautiful, although I don't think they are in order of difficulty, but that doesn't matter, since you can do them in the order you want. I would only advise incorporating a metronome during practical classes. Thank you very much Nir for this fantastic course!

I am a adult learner who picked up guitar quite a while back but never invested myself as never felt that motivated and as a result was only able to play cowboy cords in a sloppy manner in a few basic rhythms with quite some errors. Thanks to courses on Udemy and particularly this course which taught me how to play finger style guitar and feel confident that if I stay focused I shall be able to play this style in fashion someday. Great course with great instructor and method. The way he presents the lessons makes it very understandable and easier to digest the learning. As a learner, consistent practice and discipline are important to fully benefit from this instruction. The fact that the instructor provides lots of repetition with every chunk of an exercise is super interesting in terms of patience, persistence needed to develop the technical skills to play. I am coming back into playing guitar after many years of being away from it. I started playing in the late '60s. It has been great discipline and very challenging. At times I thought of giving up when I had a difficult time. But I found that it was best to put it down and come back to it later. I am looking forward to mastering these songs.

Although I know much of the preliminary course info. I still find the tips useful and relevant. Video quality is great. Instructor presentation is great. I feel that I will pick up a few things that will make me a better guitarist; if that happens I'll be satisfied.
