Course Description
With great songs, melodies and harmonies, The Beatles are the best to learn from and the most enjoyable to arrange to fingerstyle guitar.
In this course, I've gathered and arranged 4 Beatles songs for fingerstyle guitar, each song is broken down into small digestible pieces, with exercises that will help us implement the techniques needed to play fingerstyle guitar.
I believe that playing more songs is the most important thing to do in order to improve and develop your skills as a guitar player, that also wants to arrange for fingerstyle guitar by himself/herself.
With the songs: Yesterday, Yellow Submarine, With a Little Help From My Friends, and Here Comes The Sun, you'll gain hours of fun, you'll learn and develop thumb and finger independence, and you'll get closer to understanding how to arrange fingerstyle by yourself.
Since Here Comes The Sun is in Drop D tuning, I made a chapter about Drop D tuning that will give you some practical tools to understand this tuning and its logic.
And everything is taught in a practical clear method that will make you truly succeed and improve your playing, not only for the songs and the content of this course but a method that will teach you how to learn everything you want.
All Songs are licensed with ACUM.

Born in Dimona, A small city in the south of Israel. Started playing the guitar a the age of 12.5, and since then never put it down. Learned classical guitar at the local conservatorium, and contemporary music and blues with local guitar teachers. At first, I loved to learn the songs of The Beatles. A turning point in my guitar playing was when I discovered folk music, and the beauty of fingerstyle guitar, with artists like Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Nick Drake, Tommy Emmanuel, and more.
Since then (about 16 years ago), I have mainly played fingerstyle guitar, I compose and arrange for fingerstyle guitar and love it very much.
In the last ten years, I mainly taught guitar playing, from kids to adults, I try to reveal them to the magic of guitar playing and the magic of acoustic and fingerstyle guitar, many of my students buying acoustic guitars which for me is a great achievement.

The instructor explains everything very slowly& clearly. I highly recommend it to those who want to learn fingerpicking Beatles’ songs, especially the all time great rock song “Yesterday”.

Nir's patient, systematic approach to each section of the piece makes the learning achievable and enjoyable.

It was my dream to learn the Beatles Yesterday song in fingerstyle and after attending this course, my dream has come true. Mir has broken down the entire song into small chunks and has very well explained the chord transitions and the fingering pattern. I found it easy to practise the lessons and after practising for 1 month, I am able to play the whole song!

It’s hard to find a great teacher online. I have finally found one. Nir goes through each measure of the song slowly. Then you play them at a slow and then a faster tempo. Each measure turns into a little exercise as you learn the song from start to finish. This is the way it should be. You can tell he is passionate about teaching. Thank you for such a great course.

Awesome! After the perfectly detailed exercises for each section of the song, I can actually play the song exactly as in the video! I am thrilled!

It suits me well if I pick and choose which lessons to follow. With some of the lessons, I don't understand what they are building up to, so I skip to songs that I know well.

The amount of time and patience given in teaching this course is incredible! Nir is an excellent teacher, and although I'm not a "fast learner" I will learn well with his style of teaching.

Absolutely amazing! One of my favorite classes ever. Byte size lessons that lead to being able to play full 3-minute pieces. Grab this lesson as soon as you can.

Another great course by Nir Mehlman - bar by bar approach gives strong foundations to learn fingerstyle guitar (by the way this is exactly the way of learning that style that is recommended by Tommy Emmanuel), and focus and technique and rhythm. Arrangements are wonderful and tasteful - it is so rewarding when after all the practice time we get not only better understanding of fingerstyle guitar, better fingers independence crucial for this style, but also beautiful songs to play. Thanks Nir!
