This course has been specially for those who have never used FL Studio before, or who have downloaded it and installed it only to open the program and become totally confused by what they see. Even if you hav used the program before, there will be new tips and tricks that you will pick up.

FInally, we also explain in depth the synths that you will want to use in FL Studio, and not just how to use them but what they can be used for, as well as examples too!

Stephen Loader

I've been producing music for 10+ years. I started off using Propellorhead's Reason, and then migrated over to FL Studio in order to start using external plugins and VSTs. I mainly produce Progressive and Electro House as well as Trance, and have recently taken an interest in Trap and Hardstyle.

I have been teaching electronic music for 6+ years, and I currently run 'The Basics of FL Studio' on Udemy.

I have a SoundCloud account that showcases the music I make professionally. You can also find my music on all popular streaming platforms, such as Spotify and Apple Music, under the artist name 'Octen'.

Mostly appeal to beginners. Most narratives have been written. I found the course insufficient in the narration.

By Steven Anonales on 3/15/2024

Not bad but not great. Very basic learned a couple things but for the most part just explained a lot of basic knowledge.

By Judy Lassa on 7/7/2022

Great match so far. Best explanation for beginner I have been exposed to.

By Martin Jones on 4/23/2022

This is a great beginner's course. I found the information to be helpful and I feel more confident with production terms. Also, it doesn't seem daunting anymore beginning use of the software.

By Brandon Lewis on 2/5/2022

Yes this is a great match for me. I have been struggling learning FL on my own. This is very helpful

By Maximillian Newman on 12/8/2021

I expected more videos, not just reading a bunch of pdf files with some miscellaneous attachments. Very underwhelming course. I have a better understanding of FL Studio, but not blown away by glorified Youtube material.

By Jean Woite on 12/27/2020

Sehr informativ, jedoch hätte ich mir manchmal mehr Beispiele für das einsetzten einiger Komponenten gewünscht.

By Rachel Schmiedberg on 11/5/2020

So far, everything has been explained perfectly! I love how Mr. Loader not only tells you how to use the FL Studio 20 interface, but he also explains in depth about plugins, how they work AND WHY you need them. The Music Theory resources are a plus and important as well. The explanation of why they work is just as important as knowing how to use them. If you don't know why you're doing something, Its all meaningless. I have taken 2 other FL Studio 20 courses that are pretty extensive. However, I walked away confused with only basic knowledge. Mr. Loader shows you WHAT, HOW & WHY.

By Nick Clarke on 10/4/2020

Another great course by Stephen. I have learnt so much and as a result am more confident in the knowledge of what the functions of so many of FL studios tools are used for thanks to this course.

By Mark Kipnis on 7/16/2020

Yes, the way the course was made, briliant. Thank you so much.
