Flutter & Firebase Tutorial: Build 5 Social Media Apps (Udemy.com)

I was searching for such type of course, where i can idea of how to build such applications. I am giving this rating based on the contents you gathered for this course. I liked it very much and Thank You so much for this course.

The course is great but there is somewhere I need help on, why are videos taking time to load on video playing screen and how do I add circular progress if video is not yet playing? If video is playing, how can I pause it? when I scroll to the next video, the previous continue playing until the next one start, how to stop that? You also left out progress indicators whenever something is happening for example when video is uploading. Thank you.

This is a good course, not for beginners, but very educational for intermediate and above. However, the audio for the 111th video is not included. Please address this as soon as possible.

I only did about 3 hours of the course but clear, concise guidance so far. Rivaan explains the reasoning for chosen decisions and methods used. Looking forward to the rest of the course. Thanks, definitely worth completing.

This guy is amazing!!! I've been watvhing tutorial fir many years now and some how his tutorials are excelent!! Thing I like is : 1) Clean explanation 2) good guidance 3)What, When, and why (Super Important!!) 4)Indian thats speak clear english! BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO!

The instructor is amazing, Apart from the well structured tutorial, his swift response to student's challenges is top notch.

I've been searching for a good decent-level Flutter project course for a long time and I stumbled onto this course recently, and thank God I did! Although the auth section doesn't have starter files and is difficult to follow, the course certainly becomes better starting from the Instagram clone section. Pros: Great UI, Instructor's delivery is amazing, Great course for getting hands-on experience on a project. Cons: The Instagram app (I have only covered 1 app so far) is NOT at all professional. There are so many features that have not been implemented (user can't view his/her posts, it only appears on the feed screen, can't edit profile, no messaging feature, no favorites notification section even though it's in the bottom navigation bar). It would have been better if he focussed on completing one app end to end rather than jumping onto other apps. He ignores the null safety errors (has turned off null safety errors on Vs Code) and says "in the end we wouldn't have this" -which is not true. I spent hours trying to get rid of null safety errors. Any slight error and you'll get the red screen because he hasn't employed single error handling mechanisms in the code for better user experience. (apart from res= "Some error has occurred"). Towards the end, he finishes it just because he has to. It's more like let's get this app done, it doesn't matter how many bugs and features and warnings/errors pop up. It's a good course for getting started nevertheless and the instructor explains everything. I'll give this course 5-star rating without a doubt once he fixes these things.

I learnt a lot about creating UIs from rivaan's course. If you are a total beginner it's not going to be very friendly for you. But if know no flutter but you have good HTML and CSS basic (knowing how float/grid works) you should be able to follow along easily. I would go as far as he has the best delivery on cloning popular app's UI. I've also learnt a lot about firebase auth / CRUD with his course. State management lesson was minimal but after he updated the course with whatsapp clone. I'm impressed. The whatsapp module IS FIRE!!!!! You would learn how to build a billion dollar app with realtime features and not just a UI clone. He teaches how to use riverpod for regular future, stream state and statenotifier provider. You will gain a good footing which you can use to build your own app. You'd also learn agora RTC in his twitch clone tutorial. If you ever want to implement basic RTC in your apps then this is the course to get. I'd say for basic flutter rivaan's course is one of the bests you should get. And he promised to update everytime there's an update of the flutter framework. ^^

Till now I have done the Firebase tutorial part and after completing it, I'm feeling confident with the Firebase. Hope the further parts would be more enjoyable and would get a chance to learn more.
