Course Description
Welcome to the [Flutter Riverpod Essential] course, the most in-depth exploration of Riverpod—the standard for state management in Flutter.
This comprehensive course covers everything from the solid fundamentals of Riverpod 2 to the groundbreaking changes in the recently released Riverpod 3. We don’t just list theories. We adopt a “iterative, hands-on” approach, building small apps to test new concepts as they arise and internalizing them through large-scale, real-world projects.
In addition to the existing 19-hour, meticulously designed curriculum, this course now includes a new 5.5-hour [Riverpod 3 Masterclass] section. Now, master both the legacy of the past and the standard of the future in a single course.
What Makes This Course Special: [NEW] Riverpod 3 Masterclass (5.5 hours added)
In the newly updated Riverpod 3 sections, you’ll master Riverpod 3’s evolution into a data synchronization framework through a 10-step roadmap and 14 dedicated hands-on apps.
Implement 14 Dedicated Hands-On Apps: Directly compare Legacy (v2) and Modern (v3) approaches to gain a practical understanding of their structural differences.
Learn Innovative Features: Gain in-depth coverage of Mutation, the standard for asynchronous data changes, and Persistence, native offline support.
Practical Reliability: Get a complete guide to Automatic Retry, error prevention via `ref.mounted`, Generic Support, and end-to-end testing using enhanced Testing Utilities.

Founder of YourDevEdge | Flutter & Full-Stack Architect | 20+ Years of Systems Experience
I am the founder of 'YourDevEdge', an educational startup focused on full-stack development, and the creator of 'Heavy Fran', a YouTube channel dedicated to deep-diving into Flutter.
My journey into development wasn't a traditional one. After spending over 20 years at a leading telecommunications company, I pivoted to software development later in life. This unique path allowed me to bridge the gap between complex enterprise-level systems and modern mobile application development.
As a self-taught developer who has mastered numerous languages and frameworks, I know exactly where learners get stuck. I don't just teach you how to code; I teach you the 'why' behind the architecture. I understand the "loneliness of the long-distance learner" and the frustration of hitting technical walls.
My mission is to share the "small but crucial" details—the nuances of clean architecture and scalable design—that I've discovered through years of trial, error, and real-world implementation. If you are looking for a mentor who values systematic repetition, deep understanding, and practical know-how, I am here to guide you on your journey.

Fake voice talking in a monotone voice

This course absolutely deserves 5 stars! The content is incredibly useful, well-structured, and packed with valuable insights. It's clear that a lot of thought and effort went into creating the course material. However, the only downside is the autogenerated audio, which could be improved for a smoother listening experience. Despite that, the quality of the content far outweighs this minor issue. Highly recommended!

While studying Riverpod, there were some points I hadn’t fully grasped, but this lecture helped me understand them clearly. In particular, the detailed explanation of how AsyncValue works was excellent. Also, in the recent lecture on Riverpod 3 Mutations, the instructor demonstrated the process of converting an app implemented using the traditional method to one that uses Mutations, which helped me truly understand the necessity of Mutations.

This is an exceptionally informative, thorough, and well‑crafted course. The instructor answers questions clearly and with iimmediately. The update to Riverpod 3 is excellent and genuinely useful. He has also moved away from the generated voice and now uses his own (as far as I can tell), which is a welcome improvement. I strongly recommend this course—not only for those wanting to learn and master Riverpod 2 and 3, but for anyone who appreciates solid, thoughtful coding.

The explanation was very clear and detailed, which really helped me understand. I also like that the course comes with a lot of attachments for the key points. It was also a good experience to create providers with different state shapes. I also liked that when there were important updates to the packages used in the app or changes to the API, the instructor was quick to notify about the changes.

Amazing course with a lot of practical and clear applications, tips and tricks. Includes a lot of repetition using different examples to drive the intricacies of Riverpod home. And it also offers great information for general Flutter development. I learned a lot more than expected. Yes, the generated voice does take time getting used to and sometimes causes confusion, but together with the available transcript it's fine. The author also replies really fast to questions.

Sangwook did an excellent job presenting all the possible state management tools of Riverpod. His attention to detail is amazing. He does provide numerous examples of each state management type and provides recommendations when to use each one. The repetitious nature of the course allows for the material to sink in and become almost second nature. I'm looking forward to applying what I learned to my next Flutter project!

First of all, I wanted to subtract 1 star and give 4 stars due to the "probably" generated voice. However, the course is so good that I could give it 6 stars. I'm looking forward to a course that includes connecting Riverpod to Firebase/external API + clean architecture. I recommend this wonderful lecture to everyone. To sum up, one of the best courses: substantive, explains everything, rather than summarizing it.

I already completed this course, but upon hearing that the instructor had added a course on Riverpod 3 updates, I took all of the Riverpod 3 courses. In my opinion, it seems to cover the most extensive topics among the current Riverpod 3 courses, and the content is very detailed, which was a great help in understanding the new features on Riverpod 3. In particular, the Riverpod 3 test course was extremely helpful in understanding Riverpod 3.
