I feel that this course is excellent. I was a complete beginner and I learned so much from this course. The instructor goes into the nitty-gritty of each concept, making it simple even for beginners. What I especially liked were the practical exercises given for each scale; it's not just theory, you get to practice as well. In every session, the focus is on clarity of fundamentals, and I must say, I've gained a solid understanding after completing the course. To put it simply, if you're keen on learning Indian classical music, this course is your go-to guide. Highly recommended!

Really nice course for all music lovers and great learning experience. Small detailing have been done in each session of the video, Indian classical made easy to learn and understand. fundamental clarity have been given in each and every session, many excises were given on each scale, mentioned in the course. The course was really helpful for me and finally I would say that I have found my Music Guru.

The course was truly a divine experience. It is a must for music lovers. Suroshriji is a great teacher with a deep knowledge and understanding of swaras, rhythm and composition of a variety of ragas. It is a joy to learn from her sweet and wise voice. I got to learn a lot from her course.

I am on section 2 and loving it. My childhood dream was to learn music, and it couldn't happen due to financial constraints. Finally, it's happening, and I love it. This is better than in-person classes. You can sing along and repeat many times, and Suroshi is just an exceptional singer. Wonder how Bollywood hasn't discovered her talent yet. Go for the course without any doubt.

When I saw this Hindustani music course I was a bit skeptical initially since I already have learned Carnatic music for few years....but after looking at the course structure and the way she teaches it was really impressive....I wanted to compose songs based on ragas and I think this course is very useful to me as I liked the way music concepts and theories are taught. Only improvement if any she could make is to tell some differences between Carnatic and Hindustani ragas because not all Hindustani ragas are the same in Carnatic music I guess. But this being a Hindustani music course may be it is irrelevant for majority of the people doing the course.

The words cannot describe the great feelings about this course. I am very satisfied with the course and the methods that Ms. Suroshri has used in this course. One has to be very patient with the ‘Learning Process’ and Learning Hindustani Classical Music is a Life Long Journey. The Teacher; Ms. Suroshri Paul is wonderful in explaining the material and also ‘to the point’ teacher. Looking forward to more courses in various Raagas with Swarmalikas, Lakshan Geets and Brandishes.

I like singing. I have sang shlokas, folk songs and movie songs at family and friends' events. I like this course so far, as the instructor gives theory first and then, hopefully we will practice the fundamentals.

This course has been so beautifully programmed, that one who doesn't have any exposure to singing will definitely start singing better.the crisp but yet technically sound lectures will allow you understand the concepts quickly.hearty thanks to Suroshri Paul madam and the Udemy team.

In many ways this is an excellent course but I think more content could have been added. Especially the ragas. I am looking forward to see the updating of this course. The teacher loves what she is doing therefore would love to see more ragas and in depth explanations kheyals and Tarans. All the best!!!
