Fusion 360 For Hobbyists and Woodworkers (Udemy.com)

I would have given this course a higher rating, however I am using the latest 'Fusion' and the lessons using the legacy interface mean that sometimes I had to review the lesson many times to work out some simple operations. The topic of joints could be more detailed as I had a lot of problems in the beginning. That said, the course was well paced and of good quality.

Well presented, enjoyed the various projects that covered off different aspects of Fusion360. This will be very helpful with my Woodworking and 3D print designs. Although it was for an older version of the tool, I found that looking for the current tool features (because of the differences) was helpful in learning as well.

Very comprehensive course, even know the Fusion 360 Software has been updated the instructor provided a well-explained tutorial about how to navigate the changes. Straight forward and learning by doing, that's my preferred way to tackle something new. For the others that complained about buttons being different or blaming the instructor, it's very possible CAD is not your calling. Much appreciated for your time and dedication to this course and the time you spent editing the video files.

Yes this course goes through exactly what I wanted as someone who previously used CAD for furniture design, Fusion360 is much easier to use and powerful. The course runs through well, although frustrations with the different user interface and changes in practice of the tools, because I am using the newest available version. Would be good info to put on the course what version of Fusion is used in this course.

I have enjoyed the course so far and have learned a lot. I found the joints formation really difficult spending a lot of time getting it to work. Whats good in fusion is that there are many ways to do things and so with experimentation I was able to achieve a working joint system. Hours of fun and good learning.Thank you.

Great course, exceeded my expectations. I learned a lot that I just was not getting from the Autodesk training materials. This course helped me learn the tool as a hobbyist and woodworker, but I feel I now better understand how a lot of Fusion 360 works. It is an immensely sophisticated and complex product, but this course gives one a great start. Mike does go pretty fast and I found myself hitting pause a *lot* to try to keep up. The trick for me was having the browser on one monitor and Fusion on the other, so I could compare the two to make sure I was doing the right thing.

This is second course I took on Fusion 360, so it was mostly boring, because I already knew 90% of the course. Joints were new to me, and it was very good explained. Also good deal for someone who is completely beginner is this nice and polite lady(sorry, did't remember her name) who explains her mistakes. Overall, I recommend this only if you know nothing about Fusion 360

Mike is easy to understand and follow. Approaching this course from the viewpoint of hobbyists and woodworkers is what drew me to his course in the first place, and he did not disappoint. I'm already applying what I've learned to creating my own woodworking designs with very satisfying results. There are good tutorials on YouTube, but Mike will help you learn the most skills in the least amount of time. In fact, taking this course will help you get much more out of YouTube tutorials. Well worth the price.

i feel like it needed about 30 percent more practice projects. also i feel like the way the skills build is a it awkward. i paid the sale price so i thought it was a great value. i think there should be more "best practice" stuff early on to build habits. but i am starting to feel prepared to use fusion to actually build something of my own. so i'm generally pretty satisfied. well worth the time and money. also one think that might be helpful is to have a shorter demo video then ask students to rebuild something in fusion based on some materials measurements and drawings and then provide a sort of solution video.

Great content, the Miter Saw cabinet tutorial was a bit too fast, I missed some details, making it hard to follow, personally I'd slow down the video speed. Personal Thoughts : Lauren's thoughts are worth watching even before the training, even though the material isn't covered yet, it will give some valuable hints on pitfalls to expect. It would have saved me time if I had done this before Overall I learned a lot ! Great to jump into F360,
