It's been 5 years since I started working in elearning. I understand the limitations and the possibilities of online teaching. I'm excited for the future and I'm amazed at what we can do right now.
It's been 10 years since I first taught a class. I spent three years teaching english in Seoul. I loved seeing the progress of my students and I loved knowing they were having a good time in my class. I learnt about how to write a solid lesson plan the only way I believe anyone can... by seeing the results right there in front of me.
It's been 15 years since I first designed and built a website. I remember learning dreaweaver and flash while I was a student and been hooked on the power it gives us, even then I didn't know how far it would go. I've dedicated my life to building and designing web apps to the highest standard and now I want to pass that on.
It's been 30 years since I started school. and I wasn't that good at school truth be told. I had dyslexia and couldn't keep up, having overcome that and managed to find ways to teach myself the skills I need to get some fantastic jobs I'm confident I can explain things in a way everyone can understand and, knowing how much I struggled to learn, I can be very patient in explaining how things need to be done.
I believe all the skills I have built over the years all add up to making great online course to help you move forward with your goals and

It started off with things I generally knew which was a little disappointing, but it got better as I could start to make more mental connections between the topics covered and my future plans for gamification. As I became more engaged and reflective, then my opinion of the course improved. It helps to have the information concentrated together so I can use its reminders as a mental checklist for a plan for gamification and motivation and engagement. The videos are quite polished, which is nice, and the instructor seems very comfortable speaking and sharing the information. It left me wanting more info so I will continue my search, but it was a good base to build upon....

The introduction was good so far to establish the basis but the pace is too slow and I would love to have had more details on dopamine release. The example and reference section at the end is great at explaining and illustrating the concepts and could actually be integrated in the main course.

Very good course. Gives inspiring insights into the psychology of motivation and how to engange people. I'm sure it will be very useful for devising games, apps for learning new things etc.

I get this course just to learn gamification for further applying this knowledge in app development, but finally I got more, then expected. It was a good course, there are many examples and answers to the questions, which are bothering us. While watching through this episodes I found the reflection of my inactions in some aspects of my daily basis, and it makes you to think and discover what do you really want.Thank you

The instructor uses real world examples to get his point across. Really appreciate his perspective on how to make applications more engaging.

One the best courses I've taken... I was expecting something else but what I got was so much better! Rob has a lot of interesting facts and tips to share and it was a pleasure to take it all in. This course it really makes you think about the way we behave, what motivates and engages us and how can we use that knowledge to put it to practice, independently of the area we work on. I strongly recommend this course to anyone who wants to understand better human behavior. Be prepared for a treat!

The course was very informative. Only thing that Was an issue for me was there were several errors in transcript and I was unable to figure out cited websites.

Excellent course! I really enjoyed it and it challenged me to work on it and give it a change in my daily tasks at work. Why not thinking about making it fun not only to motivate my team and students but also to engage them with their work and course? Thanks indeed for the learning

This is a fantastic course! It really helps me in better understanding other people. The instructor presents the content in a very clear and understandable way.

i love talking with people when they are having a problem so that is why i want to know about psychology and be a professional and ease their mind ,give them hope

Thoroughly enjoyed this course and fascinating insight into human psychology. Looking forward to trying to put some of these techniques into practice in a large corporate environment.
