Who is your instructor?
My name is Dean Davis and I run the Songwriting Studio where I train artists to write, record, and release their own music from home! Over the past few years I have had the privilege of helping over 30 (local) artists to record+release their first song or album and have been able to help over 15K students online learn GarageBand! I currently have a best selling course on Udemy that is focused on using the OS (computer) version of GarageBand and I wanted to take that same level of detail and excellence and put it into a course all about the iOS (iPad/iPhone) version of GarageBand!

Want focus on what to do (in optimal order) and more how, and when to do x instead of y. The inspirational diatribe is unnecessary… i’m here and paid for the course, I don’t need time wasted on inspirational encouragement. I brought that. Keep the learning going. Also, hope this is the last time you ask for a progress report until i’m through the course.

Yes when working on a project, it was good to be able to check videos at various stages, I liked the technique of one stage at a time as well, from my point of view it was well worth it, Thanks,

Although the course is short, it is compact and full of information on how to use instruments and vocals in Garageband. Many of the course videos require watching several times to fully understand and to follow along when making a song. The instructor is very knowledgeable and engaging when explaining on how to use the Garageband software.

2nd course I have of Dean’s. Good teaching style and I have liked how he presents info. I’m an Old Dog who wants his soon to be 9 year old granddaughter to write and play songs this summer together. Deans course along with some explanations from me will help us reach our goal we set for this summer (along with going fishing 2x a week).

Well laid introductory course that covers a lot in only 1 hour. Would like some iPad coverage and things like plugins, automation, jamming, soundpacks, custom chords in smart instruments, midi I/O, coverage of the sampler, operation using live loops/cells instead of tracks, connecting guitars & condenser microphone... these, along with some more, the existence of which I yet don't know... but then, this wouldn't have been an one-hour, introductory course, would it?
