I have already learned some interesting things about krita from this course.

Very informative, especially for beginners.

I needed basic information on the program and I got it. Fun and intersting.

I was expecting more of an in depth demonstration of the Krita tools in use to achieve result similar to the painting shown.

I took this course wanting to know more about Krita and how the software works. I was glad to see people offering courses on Krita.

I had hoped the instructor would go over things like the brush engines, what they are or how they work, what all of the tools do, layer settings, the program settings like the display settings, canvas input settings. The impact of different settings and brushes on performance.

The course was ok as a very brief overview, but doesn't really get you started, leaving many questions about the program. It was presented reasonably, but the course was very basic, only briefly glossing over the basic tools without much explanation as to their uses. None of the tool options within each tool were introduced or explained.

No real explanation about layer grouping, alpha masking selections.

The interface section didn't really contain much information about Dockers (Krita's tool windows) or how you can have any tool window docked (pinned to the sides) or move them around, resize them, how you can create tabs on them. Or even what the different docker types are.

There are many great things about the Krita software, the tranform tool's other modes are very powerful, the autosave feature is handy, the brush engines offer great flexibility, but none of these things were covered. I thought the instructor did well enough presenting the user with Krita, but not enough about the software was explained, even for just getting started.

It's like unboxing video for Krita.

Not a bad intro course. I like the instructor and his delivery. A couple times he gave some wrong information about a tool, such as saying the foreground/background swap button was just a tool to switch easily between two colors. He also references Photoshop a lot. This is fine for people that know photoshop, but for others, saying "layers work just like they do in photoshop" doesn't offer much information to the green user. As said, not a bad course, though it is very basic. It strictly covers the basic tool available in Krita, without much elaboration. Some very important tools are just breezed over, only mentioned for a few seconds. If you can get this for $5 or $10, not too bad, but had I spent any more, I would surely request a refund.
