Ur method is fantastic... chord construction based on major scale,, understanding some basic shapes of major scale,, identifying root note and everything is done,,, i am learning guitar close to 6 months or more,, knew open /major /minor chords/barr chords but never learnt how easily we can construct chords..i used to memorise and that was super tough so far I have completed only 22 percent by this time i understand chord making is fun rather head breaking. I have gone thru also pentatonic solo courses .. the course method is simple and very effective.. thank you

The best teacher i ever saw...being from a small town ..i learned guitar where they teach us directly the chord shapes and progressions ..from that point being a kid there was always a curiosity in my mind that " whys its named the certain way', why only some certain notes" and that kept me stuck for years...then finally i found Mark sir online while just surfing on u demy and damn ! It was the best thing that i ever discovered ..still learning lots of new things...getting my base theory clear it feels so good..and at such a reasonable price its the best thing on internet that you will ever find, if you really have that true enthusiasm to learn....so grateful , with lots of love and respect ,THANKYOU Mark sir❤️

Exceptional course. I first took Mark's fretboard mastery course, which was also fantastic. This course's instruction was concise but fully comprehensive. Some of Mark's tips like the "phone number" for triad memorization made a big difference in my playing. I will take Mark's soloing course next.

Tevens worden akkoorden uitgebreid met de nodige variaties, waardoor je eigen fantasie geprikkeld wordt om eens wat anders te proberen dan de standaard akkoorden.

You might think all guitar courses are similar because they all teach you open chords, bar chords, strumming and what not. At least I used to think this way until I started on Mark's course. Simply put it - Mark is a artist and he knows what are beautiful sound and he cares enough to share what he loves with you. Unlike other instructors, either they don't know what sounds great or they hide those knowledge from us. Thank you, Mark.

This course is great! I've also been using his solo course as well. They cover a ton and ramp up in an easy to digest way. I have been committing at least 1hr a day to playing in the last month and take a few lessons and practice them. My chord knowledge has gotten better and i've become way more comfortable with the fretboard and knowing what chords I'm playing without needing to look at a guide. I recommend this course! and definitely his solo mastery too that is the course I started on. The only negative thing I have to say (hence the 4 stars only) is that sometimes when he is showing a chord or progression, he can accidentally mute some of the strings so you won't hear it as clean as it can be. This isn't a big drawback as his finger positions and knowledge and everything else are still correct.

I am giving 5 stars because it is a Super good course if you really follow the instructions disciplined, I learned all the neutral notes within a week on the fretboard. I do have some feedback tho 1. Please next time level your voice (more) with the audio of your guitar. I couldn't find a good balance with my volume knob between hearing you clearly and the guitar not deafening me. 2. Most of the course had excellent visual help, but when you get to the slash chord progressions it is sometimes hard to follow you because I can't see where your fingers are placed exactly. And because the chords are ''kinda special'' they also can't be found in the visual aid that was provided before. All and all im super happy I took this course, best purchase I ever did on Udemy so far. I can now write songs using my guitar.

I have been playing guitar for 4 years now, all through video lectures and never have I ever found a guitar course so thorough. This is the most concise and well explained guitar chords course that I've found anywhere. Note : I have also bought Mark's Guitar solo mastery course and that is just as fantastic as this one.
