The course covers a wide range of topics focused in production environments with helpful insights and recommendations for a career path in Big Data from experienced instructors. Some given commands presented problems to run in the cluster, which can be updated but most of them have answers on the Q&A section, although some others can be updated like required permissions for scoop commands and Cloudera's section. Overall, a dense but complete and worthy course.

This course is just AWESOME in fact it deserves rating more than 5 star. Except for few lessons in Kafka I have covered about every lesson in this course and I must say that every topic is so very well explained in detail and made it very easy to understand. All credit goes to the instructor it's an art not every instructor has it. Really appreciate all the efforts and hard work put in by the instructor in the creation of this awesome course on the awesome framework HADOOP. I'm also very keen to learn about another awesome framework SPARK and i have immediately purchased the course created by the same instructor without having any doubt about the content and the quality of the course which anyone would usually have before purchasing any technical course. Thank You.

I enrolled for this course last year during pandemic and today I'm working as a Data Engineer in one of the reputed MNC's. Living that dream. :) Thanks Patrick for making such a nice course. The best part about the course, you get life-time access of cluster so you can learn at your own pace. Though there're few access restrictions and also the course is kinda outdated now as there're many features now Hive supports which are not covered. Hope to see some more interesting courses on AWS/GCP.

Hadoop in Real World course is worth taking and would be more useful if someone is from Java background. As promised in synopsis, course covered real world examples especially File formats, Troubleshooting which is difficult to find in any other course. It would be really great if course include concepts such as Hbase. Another thing, as I am not from programming background I found challenges as almost every examples are shown in Java/MapReduce. It would be much appreciated if the same examples can be shown in some alternative way where Java has not been used so that it can encourage students to think and develop in a new way. Kuddoss to the Team!!!!!!!! Best Regards Swagatika

I have been to some training institute to learn big data but then the instructor just gave the brief of all the top nothing in depth anything. So I wasted my time and money there. Later I came across this course and after I went through all the topics here I can just say the instructor is just awesome, the knowledge he has and the way he shares is very impressive. He keeps on telling some interview question in between which really help me a lot. I have cleared some interviews after going through this course. Hats off to the instructor, If you really want to start learning Hadoop this is THE place to start for sure.

The course was awesome. Learned lot of things about Hadoop and it's architecture. I would surely recommend this course to my friends preparing for Hadoop. The one best thing about the course is that it's instructor is very experienced and knows each and every thing and describing with full energy to the audience. I didn't feel at any time that he has missed some points. He has covered everything. I am looking forward to get the Hadoop interview guide and other related courses from your side.

Great Tutorial that touches almost everything in details one needs to become a hadoop developer. I have few Suggestions i have that can make this a top of all course. 1. I know this is not a Java course , but still it has many codes and custom coding in java. For those who are not that familiar with Java (like me), that chapter that uses lot of Java tends to get overwhelmed. Giving some insight of java while explain the code will be allot helpful and make those chapters very easy 2. File Formats are very important in map reduce so it will be very helpful to have one more detailed chapter where file formatting is explained in great depth and how and why input formats are different from file formats. 3. I know size of cluster is costly but i would like it more if we have is more than 3 nodes. Few Suggestions:-

This course structured very well and has covered pretty much most of the topics and tools on Big data. I have a clear idea now on Big data concepts, architecture, fundamentals. Hands on experience and examples helped in filling voids . I'm particularly impressed with the instructor's depth of knowledge and his delivery of the lecture. I believe teaching is an art and this instructor has Mastered that Art. I would love to take additional courses this instructor would offer. This course is worth every penny you paid for. I would certainly recommend this course to all the Big Data aspirants out there.

I am very much satisfied with the purchase of the course. I feel like a 'LIVE' class(not a robotic voice ) and clear in instructions. Cluster access is a plus and it's like a working in real time environment.I would definitely recommend for whomever enthusiastic and serious to learn Hadoop technologies. The only missing part that i felt was, a documentation like PPT/PDF which we could go through after finishing the classes and recap the items in offline whenever needed. Other than that,it is best that i have ever gone through a self paced online hadoop classes.

Here’s why I’d definitely recommend this course to anyone who is interested in beginning a career in Hadoop Big Data: • This course covers a wide variety of topics under Hadoop big data. • The lectures are to the point and fast paced which helps me be focused. • There isn’t any unnecessary deviation from the topic and all points are precise which keeps them interesting. • A snippet of interview questions during the sessions is definitely an added flavor to the course. It gives a clear perspective of real time projects. • The language/communication is a great plus in the course. Every word is crystal clear. • The use cases/examples used in the lectures cover vast variety of file formats. This gives a better understanding as opposed to when using the same simple examples in other courses that I’ve taken.
