Good course but half of the resources are missing and repeated. However the instructor was clear and knowlegeable.

This is an amazing beginner to intermediate course. It incorporates playing techniques, music theory, and even mild improvisation. This course, and lots of practice, would make anyone a fine guitar player.

yes i have a old hand me down cheap as chips ,but if i can learn basics i will have the info to look for better at a price i can pay for.

I am a fresh new beginner and have never held the guitar in the past. This course covers all the required basics to under the guitar and play. I liked it so much and it builds the confidence level and all you need is a passion to get it going... Thank you so much for creating this course and making it free of cost. An exciting and excellent course for the beginners .

Overall this is not a bad course. The instructions are mostly clear and to the point. The instructor does her best to go slowly. However towards the end, the exercises get rather suddenly complex and fast. Having had music instruction before I had no trouble following along. But I don't believe this not the course for the absolute beginners -- someone with no prior exposure to some musical theory and practice will likely feel lost in the second half as it picks up the pace. Finally at least a third of the attached resources is missing or is a duplicate of each other (that is the same resource is attached to several sections, it seems that some of the melodies are missing. I contacted the instructor through udemy, but never heard back from them. It seems other customers already complained as well -- doesn't look like the instructor is following up on this course actively.

I just love the teacher. She is so assertive and warm that the lessons just come naturally, like we're in a conversation. I came here as an intermediate player to see if I forgot something and even the basic theory were reinforced and I feel more prepare to play basic stuff than ever!

Section 2 lesson 16, the first real instruction on how to play has an issue and doesn't play. More than one person asked a question about it and there are no satisfactory answers or responses to actually address this. Going a little further is helpful and it may even be that the lesson is not terribly important, though its loss is frustrating. After that however the lessons thus far have been helpful and thorough.

Very simple and easy to understand her voice docile and gives you great information surrounding a beginner course.
