Course Description

Most beginners think that you need to know thousands of chords to play thousands of songs. NOT SO! You really only need to know a handful of chords and a few strumming patterns to play thousands of rock, folks, blues and pop songs.

The reason guitar is the most popular instrument on the planet is because it's the quickest and easiest instrument to learn how to play. You do NOT need to read music. You do NOT need to learn music theory. You do NOT need to struggle through exercises, or practice scales, or learn how to play Mary Had A Little Lamb.

Fact is that thousands of popular songs can be played with 8 simple chords or less. Learn just the A chord, D chord and E chord and you'll be able to play hundreds of blues, folk, pop and rock songs. Why is this so? Because rock, pop, folk and blues songwriters all use the same handful of chords - it's their melodies and arrangements that make their songs distinctive, NOT the chords they are using in the song.

So, if you learn that handful of chords, and learn those few strumming patterns, along with the basics of holding and tuning a guitar, then you too will be able to play thousands of songs. And that's the simple truth.

World renowned guitar educator Ravi has taught thousands of people to play their favorite songs on guitar with his breakthrough 21-day course. The "trick" behind this course is really no trick at all; over the 21 days you'll learn how to hold and tune the guitar, how to play eight simple chords, how to strum, and how to keep a beat.

No gimmicks. No "magic" formula. No nonsense.

You will need to set 20 minutes a day aside for your practice sessions. No more and no less. And you are asked to do this for 21 days straight. Yes, you can skip a day or two but the daily repetition and practice regiment is the key to your success.

Ravi has also included additional lessons for you to work with beyond the 21 days. You'll learn more open position chords, the moveable barre chord system (worth the price of admission alone!), how to read chord charts, and how to easily and quickly learn songs from sheet music, song books and lyric sheets that you download from the internet.

Ravi will step you through the course and each of your practice sessions on the video lessons. Follow the course for those 21 days and beyond and we guarantee that you'll be prepared to start playing and building your own repertoire of favorite songs to accompany yourself or play in a band setting.

No, you will not be an Eric Clapton in 21 days and we wouldn't suggest you book your first gig on the 22nd day BUT you will be a guitar player and you will be well equipped to learn ALL of your favorite songs.

If you've always wanted to learn to play guitar so that you can strum along and sing your favorite songs, Learn Guitar in 21 Days is likely the answer you've been seeking. Grab your guitar, boot up Ravi's first lesson and let's start making music right away!

NOTE! We get asked all the time why a guitar educational company with so many advanced courses would offer such a simple solution to learning guitar without having to learn how to read music, learn theory or work through a more "formal" learning methodology. The answer is really simple; you never stop learning music but you do have to start. If your introduction to music is boring, tedious and generally a struggle, you'll likely pack the guitar up in its case and stick it in the closet. If it's fun, engaging and you can prove to yourself that you can really do it, then you'll spend a lifetime enjoying and learning guitar. Hopefully, TrueFire and our massive library of instruction will enhance that lifetime of enjoyment.

A best shortcut way to play guitar course... The only thing it misses is how to find chords of a song yourself but for that you might have to know music theory deeply. So as long as you are okay with finding the chords of a songs online, this course is stellar. Its quiet motivating for beginners and a good short cut way to play for leisure players. Advance stuff like learning to play solos and fingerpicking style is not in this but like I said its a superb beginners course. The coach is awesome and makes everything simple and tells you minute but very important thing too. Thanks for the simplest course on the planet. Loved the extra barre chord section!

Very good for someone having an interest and want to start playing guitar. It is paced well and step by step. I would have given a 5 star but lost part of it due to the improper deployment of tech feature for 'resources'. I had a big struggle as, unlike other courses on Udemy' every time I clicked to download the chord chart or the song list, it seemed like nothing happened but it was sending it to my PCs root directories somewhere. The resource certainly isn't easy to use.

The course was exactly what I was looking for, considering my proficiency of the Guitar. I did learn a lot of new things, in a streamlined and progressive manner, which has helped me become better at the Guitar in just 21 days. Well done to the team for making this course. A definite recommendation for someone who wants to learn the guitar the right way, that too quickly.

I'm a novice player. I like to go back every once in while and take beginner courses like this one from different instructors. I find that It helps my technique and I almost always learn something new. Just like every player has their own tone and style, so does every instructor have their own perspective. I enjoyed this course, particularly the bonus material, and highly recommend it.

I really like the teachers style. I think it would help if he directed a little bit more when we are supposed to play songs. For example, he could just pick a song and go slowly through it.

I have not seen a level of understanding pf how to get the concept accross not just put a fonger here strim and you got it . His barre chord explanation is the best i have seen. The two things i reccommend is this the student view every lessdon before he strum a cord and have a audio recorder to review the chords and strumming For the instutor maybe audio files to download not everyone can afford a looper But. Thank you i am 64 years old wanted to learn the gutsr to sing with my handicapp son this helps us communicate because he likes to siing music your course will help me do that thank you from the bottom of my heart

I have been a professional saxophonist for 13 years and now I'm looking to venture out musically. I've always wanted to learn guitar and this series of lessons is making it very easy to start out. Everything starts with the basics. I am glad to have found someone who teaches progressions and not just songs. A handful of progressions, tweek the rhythm a little, and you suddenly have 100's of songs. Well done with creating this course.

Excellent camera work that allows the learner to clearly see what the instructor, Ravi, is doing and proper placement of fingers. The focus is on the mechanics of actually playing chords rather than music theory (you do get some of that in the later lessons on barre chords). The new guitar player can learn how to play A LOT of chords here. Just a couple of suggestions: 1. Combine some of these lessons. For example, you don't really need a separate, 12-second stand alone lessons just to say go practice some songs. Or, keep the lesson, but make it longer and show people how to play one of the songs from the song list you provide. 2. Show people how to play the songs on the list you provide It isn't enough to say the song is played with C, G, & F. Not everyone can "hear" the chord changes, especially in the beginning. You need to show people how to do it. 3. Wish there was more time spent on learning different strums and how to become proficient. Thank you!

When all is well as you may learn... Still there are somethings one may always miss their first time while learning to play the Spanish guitar, whether acoustic or electric. This course by TrueFire is truly a fire, which doesn't bore you while you are learning and entertain you yet even if you don't get to do things right in your first go with your "frets & fingers" ^______^ Well, as for me, I have learnt a lot while I enjoyed it a whole lot more!!! Regards, chakravartiraj

What I liked about this course for beginners is that it gets to the point of guitar basics without a lot of music theory that can be frustrating for beginners. The student taking this course can complete the lectures, get a comfortable understanding of guitar playing and afterwards go back and fill in some of the blanks of music theory to go to the next level. I'm a beginner and I've watched and read a fair amount of material. This is one of the better instructional programs and I've recommended it to others. Thanks
