Course Description

Layers Upon Layers

In this course, you will learn that a proper shuffle / running manis not just a simple running momentbut layers upon layers of moves. Ceech will teach you this move progressively by starting with a simple jumping jack; slowly, he will make minor adjustments to incorporate knee raises, doubling, arm variations, and free style combos. Most importantly, Ceech will teach you how to stayon beat.
By the end of the course, you will learn to incorporate all of these layers of moves together.

I've always wanted to learn how to shuffle and even follow a few shufflers on Instagram. I'm looking forward to taking that step forward and finally taking the initiative.

amazing teacher! some people might be good at dancing but most of them can't explain how to dance clearly and step by step for beginners, but this instructor does it very well!!

Ceech is a great and fun teacher to learn with. He has a lot of positive energy and explains each step in great detail and with lots of attention to detail. Very much looking forward to seeing his other courses and hope he will make a few more in the near future! :) Thumbs up! x

I am 50 and a legitimately overweight person who hasn't done cardio in 15 years. I'm winded. And yet I got the steps. This is awesomely rudimentary. I'm so impressed.

Great instructions - really breaks down the steps into easily digestible parts and finally putting them together is greatly satisfying!
Now time to go stomp on some small animals!

After doing the 2-Step course, I did this one for the Running Man. The Running Man is hard (at least for me). I've seen it done before and tried to do it, but just could not get it right. So I took this course because the instructor starts really simply, then gradually builds up to more complicated moves that comprise the Running Man. When I eventually was able to do the Running Man, I felt like I did when I first learned to ride a bike ("Oh crap, I can't believe I'm actually doing it now! And I don't want to stop!"). I heard that practicing the Running Man can be easier in your socks on a linoleum floor. I tried it and it was easier to do the part where you slide your foot back, so it's something to consider if you're having some trouble with this part of the dance move.

Ceech has put a lot of work into breaking down the dance moves into easy to follow steps. The repetitive nature of the lessons allows me plenty of time to practice each move. It's particularly helpful the we are asked to try these moves to different musical speeds, gradually moving from slow to faster music beats because we never really know what music we will encounter at social events. It would be nice to be able to dance these moves to any song. I like the goal and review pieces of each skill as it helps me to focus on that one specific skill knowing that the next skill will build on the current one. I appreciated the last sessions where Ceech encourages us to be creative about combining all the moves we learned into our own dance creations. He models several ways to do this and I enjoy watching all the combinations because it gets me all hyped up to try them myself and make up a few of my own! Great course, awesome intructor!

No lie, this course made me a better dancer. The instructor is very passionate on what he is teaching. The steps are very simple to follow. I love how I can apply his steps to different kind of songs. I always remember what he says that staying on beat is important! If ever I get confused, I just watch the tutorial over and over again until I get it. If you have questions, feel free to message him =) He will be glad to help you with your concerns and even help you improve to your moves!
