Sean Daniel

Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond. Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly. He plays and teaches guitar on his YouTube channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket.

I have learned a lot over the past couple of days thanks to Ian and Sean. The young grandkids even quietly sat down around me as I was practicing…listened…and said “that sounds good”. The progress made from these very effective lessons is significant. Knowing the pentatonic scale…at least Pattern 1…in advance is necessary. These lessons show how to effectively apply the pentatonic patterns and join in making really neat music in causal jams with others.

So wish I had discovered this course earlier. Been working at guitar for two and a half years. I've learned all kinds of things via many YouTube vids, but not been able to make any music or even think about playing with someone else. This lesson is fixing that problem dramatically. This course brings it all together. Still have to get good and fluid with lots of practice. I can now see so many more connections and paths than before the course. Great, long, jam tracks and I'm playing right along; yea.

Hey thanks for this course, really good stuff. You've made me realize I'm better than I think I am because I've already been playing a lot of this stuff for quite a while (confidence thing!). I'm that guy... I'm not good enough to sit in yet! I particularly liked the extended chords lesson, I've actually used those chords before, just didn't know what they were called. Thought you would've gone into Dorian/Mixolydian jams so... looking forward to Part 2: The Advances Sessions. Thank guys!

I hope so. I loved the amount of humour on the course. Felt initially like I had overpaid when I saw half the videos were backing tracks, but you both more than made up in the humor - I'm starting to discover the content you've covered is in fact simple yet powerful. Will take some time to incorporate everything in the course but I'm beginning to see why this may be the best way to learn leads.

Sean and Ian are both extremely accomplished teachers in their own right. When they get together it's magical! Get ready to laugh your way to a better understanding of your instrument and practical new skills that you can apply immediately. I have been playing for 20 years. I have played in a band and in front of a crowd, but I learned a TON from Ian and Sean in this compact and approachable course.

As much fun as you guys are having together, you seem to constantly stray away from the course material to joke around. I came here from stitch method which is usually straight to the point. With that being said, even a guitarist with years under their belt can take away a lot of information they might have overlooked in this series

This course is awesome! These guys teach in such a fun and relaxed but informative manner that you CANNOT loose interest--impossible I dare say! I wish these guys were my neighbors. I'm 53, been trying to learn guitar for about 20+ years and I think I learned more after watching just this first video. Can't wait to get into their next video lesson. This lesson is greatly, greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

This course filled in many gaps in what I've learned on guitar over the past few years, knitting scattered knowledge and skills into a stronger fabric. Pretty entertaining, too. I predict that I'll go back through the lessons multiple times.

This coarse has been great, first I want to say the pricing was right for my pocket book, some of the material I know but you guys put a better light on it for me, but the rest I can use and practice with it. Having the backing track videos to come back to again, and again gives me someone or thing to jam with and great for just practicing. I am thankful for the printable materials, it helps me follow along with you and understand what you guys are talking about. PLEASE PRODUCE MORE MASTER CLASSES like these!!! Thanks J.P. McDonald (Tulsa OK.) ps. I have been following the both of you for a few years.

As always, cool stuff !!! Lots of little nuggets of info to take away and put in to use right away. It's awesome how simple it really can be. I find that we try and make music harder and more difficult than it actually is. The key seems to be in taking the time to develop the knowledge to be able to focus on what you're hearing instead of what you are actually playing. Thanks!!
