I did not understand that there are so many ways to colorize a photo. The video kept going fuzzy then clear.

Yeah, not too bad. The instructor is sometimes difficult to understand.
It sounds as though he's trying not to talk too loud, but it's causing him to truncate his words and sound unnatural... and is therefore a bit distracting.
Likewise, it might be better at the start of each module to show the difference between the original image and what the module will teach you to get to. A quick start up front of before/after can help inform students on what they're trying to achieve, rather than just button presses and tools in the software.
