The best thing is the ease of the way you teach and I am able to understand, I am enjoying the course and I will continue to go through it until I have competed all of it.

I recently completed the "Information Technology Essentials" course and found it to be both helpful and informative. As someone exploring the vast field of IT, this course was instrumental in helping me understand the foundational aspects of information technology. It not only provided a broad overview of various IT domains but also played a crucial role in clarifying which specific area of IT I want to focus on. The content was well-structured, making complex topics accessible and engaging. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to solidify their understanding of IT fundamentals and refine their career focus within the IT industry.

Would like to have been told the meanings of some things in more depth, such as, what is IoT? Felt some of the lectures could have been more detailed. The IT career information is out of date as we enter 2024 and technology moves on quickly.

I appreciate the solid background for IT fundamentals, but I am totally blind and cannot see the screenshots. I recommend adding supplementary websites and plain text materials for the visually impaired or creating accessible PowerPoint presentations that can be downloaded and viewed offline. I appreciate the inclusion of transcripts for the visually impaired. I would recommend a section on helping users decide which programming language they want to pursue. For example, I have found accessible tutorials for the blind that focus on HTML and Python but not C-Sharp. Visual Studio Code is accessible for the blind and visually impaired community. I recommend including w3schools.com as a supplementary resource. Please include instructions for using c-sharp with VS Code. Please consider including sample C-Sharp code in a separate document so that future blind and low vision students have something to reference as they listen to the lectures. Overall, this is a great intro course.

The instructor was very good at every area of the course. The speed pace was reasonable. The general explanation was very clear.I’m most likely to purchase another course from him.

I am a technical writer, and wanted to refresh some of my basic knowledge as well as enhance my understanding of the many growth areas of IT, so that I can think about the direction of my career. This course was a perfect introduction to the IT landscape and I appreciated the clear and approachable delivery of the subjects. I will look for more of your courses. Thank you!

The class was helpful, but perhaps a little limited in scale for what I was looking for. Also, the slides had several typos on them and the first quiz had a wrong answer in the answer key (C was used twice).

Good course but he didn't cover everything he promises to give in your first introduction yet. Anyway, this is a really good course to receive a basic look into information technology.

By J. Ramón Baña Suárez on 5/5/2017

Información básica y generalista. No aporta nada nada que no se pueda aprender leyendo noticias de tecnología. Lo bueno, hace un repaso bastante completo al panorama actual de las TI a nivel básico y pone ejemplo práctico de como nos ayudan día a día.
