It is quick-fire, actionable, and covers all of the most important things you need to know when dealing with Chinese partners. Philip provides the rules of conduct for meetings, greetings, dress code, business cards, communication, gift-giving, and more, whilst also covering simple cultural misunderstandings and his 'top tips’. In addition to formal business meetings, we’ll also cover dining etiquette and dress code, including where you should sit at dinner, the complexities of making a toast in China, and the correct use of chopsticks throughout your meal.
You’ll learn to tailor your communication style, tone, and language to suit your international partners – and avoid any costly social faux pas. Plus the appropriate use of nonverbal cues, how to politely address colleagues and superiors, and understand the hierarchical structures in place within Chinese society.
2024 Update: this curriculum now also includes a free bonus course uploaded in full: "International Business Etiquette". So keep watching for that at the end of the course.

Wow excellent session on cross cultural sensitivity

I appreciate how the instructor kind of guides you on so many different scenarios and if what to do if you are unsure. Most cultures appreciate the effort so just try and that's half the battle.

I was hoping for more learning material and insight

Interesting topic with great execution

Useful and concise introduction to Chinese business etiquette. What limits the course is that it is in a pure "lecture format" (no example videos) and there is no written summary / handout. Therefore I made notes so that I have a chance to remember the most important points.

Really good training, straightforward and with good explanations about the reason for some cultural behaviors.
By Mijke Zachariasse on 4/30/2024
Excellent course with lots of practical advice. Would help to get a written sum up after the course because there is so much to remember.

Pengeahuan yang sangat berharga karena memuat etiket beserta tips-tipsnya di bidang bisnis, termasuk pula teknik komunikasi serta apa yang harus dihindari saat berbisnis, khususnya dengan pelaku bisnis china.
By Aman Aboobucker on 11/23/2023
Its a good course and the tips are great. For 30 mins it was short and concise which is great for a working individual/business owner who deals with China Customers and Business While I understand everything has a price, it would be good to keep the price at 9.90 or so and that would help. ROI will be really highly recommended to this course if kept at that price. never the less the course was good.
