Every 30 seconds it stops, almost impossible to listen to without giving it your full attention at all times because if you aren't there to hit the button and do the stupid little things it just stops. Useless to use as a refresher during work.

It was an amazing introduction to the world of linux! You could follow the course by installing ubuntu onto your machine or sign up for a free tier aws account which the instructor recommends and also helps you how to close or secure so that you aren't billed for anything. I loved Rick's guidance throughout the course and it empowered me to learn more, he made everything feel very intuitive and easy to follow! Would 10/10 recommend ✨✨ Thank you so much Rick!

Great course for a beginner. Each concept came with an explanation and then a demo, review, and or hands on activity

I really like the way you explain the commands and show them in the terminal. Very easy to understand.

yes, I was introduced to Linux when working on a Ham Radio project that included the need for raspberry pi. I acquired several pi's, different models and completed some projects and began thinking about the language to control the projects in the pi and on SD cards. that brings me to Linux. I began learning about the command line and installed a VB. This course fills in some basic knowledge that was missing. I'm a complete beginner, so thanks! , as I continue the journey.

This 90‑minute crash course is very well prepared and thoughtfully designed to deliver as much useful information as possible within a short time. The content is clear, structured, and easy to follow. I especially liked the quizzes after every lesson, as they help reinforce the concepts and allow you to check your understanding right away. Overall, it was a great investment of my time. I’ve recently started working on a new project that requires some use of Linux commands, and this course turned out to be exactly what I needed. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a quick and effective refresher.

I started studying Linux about 2-3 years ago. The beginning steps was a little interdating, on teh server rather than gnome. but with the help of learning VMs I was able to setup a crash test environment and run random commands, wrecking the software, so to speak. lol By the time I came to this course, I managed to have a little over 50% of the command knowledge at this level, but the course helped me confirm my current command understanding, and advance a little more. Thanks again for putting something like this together.
