I was exposed to Meteor.js for the first time through this course. It was effective in getting me started. I like that the course encouraged finding out how to do things/looking at the docs. The course itself used the standard Coursera format for this series of videos, weekly quizzes and two homework assignments. I would have liked more hands on with Meteor, but the later courses in the series did supply that.

I really like the course. I learned I lot about meteor and you finish the course with two complete apps. It's expected that you have finished the previous courses or that you have some knowledge about HTML, CSS, Javascript and Bootstrap. Waiting for the next one... :-)

Outstanding class, and a very good introduction to using Meteor.js. Examples are through and help to teach how to use Meteor.js. Final project is a bit challenging, but there's enough provided up to that point that a little creative thinking can get it done.

The course started a little bit slow for me, but I was familiar with Meteor already. After the first week I learned a lot and many things started to make sense to me. The quizzes are not too difficult if you pay enough attention to the lectures and I definitely recommend building the application alongside the instructor, so that when you are required to build the final assignment you don't have any trouble thinking on what to do next to meet the requirements with your app.

The prof is both engaging and effective. This is a great guided introduction to Meteor.

I am really impressed how Dr. Matthew taught this course. I have been working with meteor from the past one and a half year and I would recommend this course as the top priority to anyone who is just starting off isomorphic web development.

Very good course on an introduction to Meteor.js. The course is a nice speed and flows well. It would be nice if there were more assignments in the weeks 1 - 3. You can create ones on your own (which I did), but it would be nice if there were more guided or outlined ones.
