I have been in the technology field for more than 20 years. I have been a high performing Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) since 2000 and a Cisco Certified Systems Instructor since 2006. I began my career in telecommunications more than 20 years ago. Since then I have worked as a Systems Admin, Network Admin, System integrator, Solutions Architect, and CTO. My courses are not presentations that rely on slides to explain concepts. My goal is to demonstrate every concept covered, instead of using slides that cover theory, we will use the interface to configure every setting that is discussed. In my view, if you do not know how to complete a task that a course covered, that course was not beneficial. I will make sure that you know how to complete each task and the various configurations for those tasks.

I appreciate this instructions delivery. I feel he cares about the topic. He's concise. A lot of instructors feel like they are just reading off a script, this instructor feels like he's explaining the concept to us.

Thanks for this excellent refresher course. The configuring zones in DNS, and the understanding IPv6 sections were so good. Beginners will benefit a lot from this course. Network+ and CCNA candidates should also watch this course.

The best introduction to networking course. Mind you the course is more geared towards a Windows specific environment, which are more relatable to his other courses.

A lot of useless information. Do not recommend this course.

IT is a brand new field for me and I was intimidated going in, but this is such a straightforward course and this is such a user-friendly platform (I love that I there are 5 second playback buttons and the ability to slow down the video speed for notetaking) that it makes it super approachable. Eager to learn more.

Great introduction to networking concepts. Occasionally terms or abbreviations were used before they were defined, which caused a little confusion. Otherwise, this is a very worthwhile course.

The introduction to Networking course gave me a clear understanding of basic network concepts. The instructor, Kevin Brown has explained technical concepts in this course, which is real-world examples, making it easier to understand how data moves across networks.

I'd highly recommended for beginners or those looking to refresh basic concepts. The instructor does a good job of breaking down complex topics - like the OSI model and subnetting.
