Course Description

The Scrum framework has become the standard in Agile Development Methodologies across the globe. ITIL helps all organizations, regardless of their industry or business sector, utilize the principles of Scrum for their most efficient and economic development projects. Scrum is THE framework for developing and sustaining complex products, and is used in government, commercial, and non-profit organizations, alike.

This course provides an introduction to the Scrum framework and what it takes to become a certified Scrum Master. Built around the PeopleCert Scrum Master I and PeopleCert Scrum Master II certifications, this course allows you to learn the basics and see if becoming a Scrum Master is right for you.

By obtaining your PeopleCert Scrum Master certifications, you can show employers that you understand the key elements, concepts, and terminology used in Scrum, including how everything ties together to create a shippable product increment to create value for your end users and customers.

Please note, this course is NOT a complete textbook replacement and DOES NOT cover the entire PeopleCert Scrum Master I and II certification exams in-depth. Instead, this course is designed to introduce you to the concepts of Scrum framework and help you determine if a further investment in the PeopleCert Scrum Master certifications is right for you.

Upon completion of this course, you will earn 2 CEUs towards the renewal of your CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+, Cloud+, PenTest+, CySA+, or CASP+ certifications.

The course on this page is offered by Dion Training Solutions, LLC, an ATO of PeopleCert. PeopleCert Scrum Master I,  PeopleCert Scrum Master II, and the PeopleCert Scrum logo are registered trademarks of PeopleCert. All rights reserved.

When I was attempting, could see few questions which did not covered in topic, seems like there are some topics which needs to be covered

This note reflects my opinion on Scrum more than on the course itself, because I found some things that seem self-contradictory. For example, there is a strong emphasis on "respecting everyone," but at the same time you might say, "Well, 20 years ago it was done your way, but now we do it differently," which does not feel very respectful toward someone with more experience. I honestly do not know how I would handle such a situation myself, and perhaps I would not say anything at all. However, I certainly would not say, "Nowadays, we do things differently."

Very good about the Scrum Values: Commitment, Courage, Focus, Openness Respect, Transparency, Inspection and adaption.

La experiencia ha sido enriquecedora, aprendí conceptos clave que podría aplicar en situaciones practicas, lo que ayudo a reforzar mi comprensión del tema

Good. The presenter does, as he acknowledged, speak quickly. slowing the playback does not help as it also distorts his voice. Otherwise, it's all good, and well explained.

By Cheryl Unger on 6/9/2026

Very informative. I was Agile and Scrum Certified in 2005. I appreciate the refresher and a new way to look at these skill sets.

By Karthikeyan Velayuthan on 5/27/2026

This is the first time I 'm taking a course on Agile-scrum I thoroughly enjoyed the simplicity and the way the entire course was divided into small videos.

By Naoki Harada on 5/24/2026

The explanation in the video was easy to understand. However, it would have been even better if it had supported Japanese.

By Andy Mcfarlane on 5/1/2026

Yes, I have been on several variations of SCRUM delivery training over the last two months but have gained some useful information and guidance from this one that is relatively fast paced.

By Siddheshwar Mundaragi on 4/11/2026

Planning, execution, timely review and course correction all of these done properly most of the times lead to expected results.
