A decent and so far quite comprehensive course for beginners, but a number of things that are done are not adequately explained or not explained at all (for example naming conventions, code like [weak self], why certain changes result in errors being resolved).

It took me awhile as I always like to build my own stuff in the middle of lectures to apply them to actually absorb them to my full skills. I definitely like this course a lot because It touches on important things for iOS Development, and I know this because I am separately going to a iOS Bootcamp myself aside from Udemy. This definitely helped me grasp a lot of concepts of iOS development, and loved that it had SwiftUI as well towards the end. Pros IMO: Fundamentals were on spot, important aspects like UITableView, UICollectionView, autolayout (I wish this was a bit longer though), Navigation, Cocoa Pods (lot of other courses seem to miss this part), Unit Testing, design patterns, building UI programmatically! Cons (or improvements that could be made?): video editing seem awkward from time to time, order of lessons could be structured better to understand the concept better for brand new beginners, code challenges could be harder OR adding more real-world code challenges and interview preparation? Best of Best: Rolan explains things very well and if you don't understand, reach out to him and he'll respond back ASAP and help you with your needs! I've gotten many helps to for clarification and help with other things as well. This course seems to be getting continuously updated by the instructor which is awesome, whereas other courses are just published and never gets back the attention by the instructor. Thanks Rolan, I really enjoyed this course! :)

1 . What I really miss in this course is more covering on Storyboard with showing loading indicator and error view as you did in the next lecture where you cover the UI programmatically. 2 . In SwiftUI course I miss loading indicator and error view. as well. 3. In the course that you cover UI programmatically, when an error occurs (no internet connection), the error view will be shown under collection view, I think collection view should be cleared in case of error or empty like other apps. 4. I am also missing pagination course since you are using TMDb api which supports pagination. 5. Apart from cases above, you created a nice course with good management on different subjects. Thank you for the good job. I recommend this course to junior iOS developer same as me, which give you a good familiarity with iOS as well as Swift.

So far it goes well, however, I still have to google some things upd: halfway through review: it might be difficult at the beginning, you just have to be patient, it will get easier and more understandable with every new lecture

Awesome hands-on course. The course lets you start developing a real client application that communicates with a backend via JSON API in just a few hours with no prior knowledge of iOS programming. Very good explanations and coding examples. Focused, concise, and to the point. Helps to learn iOS (and macOS as well) programming very efficiently.

Solid explanations about iOS. Really enjoyed the networking section alongside with the projects provided in each section. It is nice to see the instructor is pretty active in the Q&A

This is a steal for the price you get this course. Clear explanation, good examples and covers latest swift/iOS practices. I’ve noticed certain courses on Udemy are outdated but this one appears to be the latest and greatest
