If you learned JavaScript already, this is the next step for you. Lots of projects to apply what you learned! This being said, it is not a course for JavaScript beginners, you need to have some good knowledge, because there isn't much explanation from the instructor's part. But that is correct, this is a practical course, not a theoretical one. The projects are nice, they look modern, they have quite some room for improvement (which is a good thing in my opinion, because you can personalize them). The reason why I gave 4.5 starts is because on the last two projects there are some big code chunks with zero explanation. I would've liked to write that too along with at least a bit of instructor's explanation. All being said, incredible value for money!

Really engaging and entertaining coruse to complete, all the projects are well assmebled and I found completing the projects in the order outlined was incredibly beneficial in building my understanding of javascript. Jacinto does a fantastic job at explaining everything in simple English and Andrei's code reviews really helped me to develop an understanding of the finer details of javascript. Overall would highly recommend to those entering the world of programming or those like myself who have experience with other programming languages!

I totally loved this course! I feel more confident about starting my own projects. Just a suggestion: perhap consider using relative units (em, rem, %) rather than absolute units. It's something important to learn. My screen is too small for most pixel values in this course and I have to spend a lot of time converting everything to relative units before starting dom manipulation

This is the second course I've completed provided by ZTM. Like the previous course, it doesn't dissapoint in taking time to finish it. I found many tricks and new things in designing HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Many interesting project we made in the course and now I am ready to make the next new project. Thank you for course..

The course is great especially the first few projects. I just finished the Web Development Bootcamp by Dr. Angela Yu and was looking for some projects to practice. I really learned a lot. However, the last few projects had pre-coded templates and for the last 2 projects, you just need to uncomment the codes to make them work for the most of the time. Also I think the TA is not quite helpful. I've seen a few questions under some lectures and the TA were just like "thanks for pointing this out". I also left questions there but got a really brief answer which didn't help at all. It feels like the TA didn't want to bother at all but must reply to all the questions. Anyway I still learned a lot from this course and Andrei and Jacinto are both wonderful instructors.

I am new to coding but I am finding that I am quite passionate about it. I am hopefully on the path to get a job. I wanted to learn coding without spending money on a bootcamp or university (seeing as I already have a philosophy degree). For 20 dollars, this course has been a great addition to the free resources I am using to learn. I have been following along, making the quote generator and watching tutorials and other resources to really try and understand what I am doing. I really really want a job in this and I am thankful for things like this that will hopefully help me get there!

I definitely have learnt a lot from building these projects, however the last 3 projects were a little disappointing as almost all the codes are given to us . Some of the code reviews were not that meaningful, almost felt like adding them just to stand out from other courses. But I really enjoyed building most of the projects and I like Jacinto's teaching, it really worth the money I spent.

The course is quite ok. But there are some flaws that make it an average course instead of a five star course. 1. I had higher expectations on the code reviews at the end of each project. However only a few were good, such as the code review of the math-sprint-game project. 2. The picture-in-picture project was confusing. 3. Too much template code provided in most projects, mainly CSS and HTML but also JS in the last 5-6 projects. Why not build the HTML from scratch in each project? With Emmet in VScode it just takes seconds. You may argue that the projects get repetitive if building HTML and CSS from scratch. Well, I don't know about you, but my learning gets far better if I repeat many times. And ... I know, this is a JS course, not a CSS or HTML course. However teaching JS without HTML and CSS is like teaching someone to write but not to read. My suggestion is to build all HTML and CSS in each project but only the bare minimum while skipping explanations of the HTML and CSS features used.

I took this course in order to make some practice with JS and it has been great. Everything is well explained and it touches different topics. I loved the code review at the end of each section as well. Now I'm going to personilize a couple of them and add them on my resume!!.. Thanks a lot Jacinto and Andrei..
