在线日本语JLPT N3课程（全10 课） (Udemy.com)

This is the video half of a textbook-style N3 program from Attain Online Japanese Language School. It has ten lessons, 177 lectures and about 10 hours of video, and each lesson is built around an everyday situation, such as asking to borrow a book or decoding housing ads. The audio is Japanese with Mandarin subtitles, and the kanji carry kana readings. It assumes you already have N4 and can read Chinese, so it is not an entry point for English speakers.

Reviewers like how practical it feels. One says the daily-life content and clear explanations are easy to follow, and another noticed that new words keep coming back in later example sentences, which helps them stick. The complaints are about gaps. One reviewer wants more reading comprehension and vocabulary tests for JLPT prep, and the syllabus shows no quizzes or practice tests. A second says the teacher's writing is often blocked on the board and a kanji is repeatedly written wrong in lesson six. A third finds the pace fast.

Teaching gets mostly warm marks, and the 4.6 average from 187 ratings, with 116 of them five-star, backs that up. The course was last updated in November 2024, which is fine for a grammar syllabus that does not date quickly. Treat it as the lesson series and add separate practice tests. Print the PDF textbook first, since the videos pause for exercises and expect it in hand. Learners who only read English will struggle, because the subtitles are Mandarin only.
