The grammar explanations are excellent, and the format of teaching Japanese in Japanese is very engaging.

This course summarizes a lot of important grammar which is useful in our conversations and written work. Understanding and practising the use of grammar and vocabulary is all by self-effort though.

Easy to understand as subtitle is in English..

Video lessons are very helpful. The only downside is that there aren't enough exercises available for studying the learned grammar points, so you need to use other books for mastering the grammar.

Provides important points. But sometimes (2 times so far and I've just finished the second lesson) explanation wasn't enough and I had to check from youtube. We need simple explanations since all students are not native.

This is an incredible course! I've personally taken (and passed) the JLPT N3, but I am finding that I built a rather shaky foundation focusing almost exclusively on learning by using flashcards to memorize rather than understand the language. This course, on the other hand, provides you with clear explanations that are much better than any textbook I've encountered (Genki, Yookoso, and Minna no Nihongo mainly). One of the main gripes with Attain Corporation's classes that I've seen in other reviews is that the material does not provide enough exercises, so one is effectively learning the language passively. And, if one uses the course this way, they're right. However, I'd like to offer some suggestions to help make this course a more active endeavor, so that you build language skill instead of merely watching it like a movie, getting bored. First, don't waste time making flashcards; instead do some review exercises with the list of vocabulary (e.g., covering the translations of Japanese words and quizzing yourself). But don't make this your main mode of study; use it as a starting place. The main exercise I suggest you do is one you create yourself: writing a story. This can be done many ways, but I suggest keeping these couple rules rigid: write something that uses every word from the vocabulary list at least once, and use every grammatical structure at least once. The most straight-forward thing to write would be either a modified/brand new version of the provided dialogue, or you could try writing a short story with characters that you create. Then post it on Lang-8. This will ensure that you understand the usage of the words and practice using them, rather than memorizing them now only to forget them soon after. This course is an incredible foundation to facilitate these exercises, and since the teacher uses exclusively Japanese to communicate verbally, you build listening skills almost automatically. Granted the dialogues can sound a bit cringy, but they seem like incredible actors compared to the stuff people used to use in language textbook supplemental CDs (just look up the Genki dialogues.. Oh my are they bad).

This is my 4th course from Attain Corp. and I repeat the same as I've said on the last ones, They are very Professional and have a Nice Method to Teach.
