Katalon Studio Beginners - Hands-on Training (Udemy.com)

This course is outdated. There has been a lot of updated content to Katalon Studio, from 2020 to 2026 a lot has changed and you could try to update the video so that it is current with the latest trends in automation. When I create a new Test Suite or a new Test Case from the Demo folder and run it like you do in the videos, mine always fail because there is nothing in it to run. Your new folders always seem to pick up previously written cases. I was able to start Jenkins on port 8080, but from then on, none of the projects were executed with the Jenkins or GIT because the folder KRE doesn't exist in my system. It's frustrating when you don't know how to do something and cannot fix it. The beginning of the course was fined, but the rest of it is not for beginners but more for intermediate and advanced learners.

The content and flow is good. However the first demo recoding did not work, some tips on frequent error conditions or recoding fine grain steps will help.

Good training for beginner, some concepts could go to deeper, for example, why use cucumber + Gherkin to create customized tags, also I do not feel api chain with global variable is easy to be maintained, will do more research, overall is good. thanks again

It helps really well to start learning about Katalon and start testing Web applications. The Mobile part is also good but is not the main purpose, the Browser Stack and AWS gives a good start also. A course to setup your mind to handle Katalon. Note: It is not updated to the newest Katalon versions. Questions are really simple, it would be better if has more practical questions or handle real scenarios.
