I've never used Laravel before. This training was beneficial to me in getting started with creating a website for my portfolio. All the required code files were also provided by the instructor, which was really helpful for practice.

I was able to demonstrate my development talents and solidify my comprehension by building the portfolio project. Even though I had some basic Laravel knowledge, I believe that total newbies who are familiar with PHP might benefit from this training as well.

This a very good course, the instruction is at the right pace and the coverage of topics is very good. There are few things that would make this great a 5 star course: 1. Cover code repositories. This course is a lot of work and using a code repo to save and rollback your work is a must. A section on using Git would help beginners. 2. Database Seeders are not covered in the project. The ability to have laravel load initial data is a nice option instead of having to export your dev data and import into production setting. 3. Validation of data can be place at the model level instead of the controller, this makes it easier to update your validation rules when needed. 4. There are a lot of one item tables that could be consolidated into a single lookup table. 5. Artisan Make Model allows you to create the model, migration, seeder, and controller with one command instead of doing single calls for each item. Adding these things to the course would make it a 5 in my opinion.

The structure of content and the pace is really nice. The course teaches you related things one by one explaining everything. No need to go back and forth in the lectures to understand stuff.

I am in section 12 and for the moment everything is well explained, from start to finish, I use Laravel 10 and the course is perfect for beginners, nothing is put aside, it is not about copying code foolishly or to follow the trainer during the conception of the project, no, everything is well explained in a way to make it autonomous and so that we can understand the logic of laravel. the only thing I would have to say is that I regret that the documents are not provided as a video resource, but all of them are grouped together in a single folder where I don't really understand the organization.
