Very helpful! I would definately suggest it to anyone who has zero to little knowledge of LaTeX and to people who need a refresh. As I started learning LaTeX, I found the amount of information in the internet really chaotic. This course taught me the basic concepts of LaTeX and helped me move on to more advanced topics.

Although I already used overleaf for LaTeX, this course enhanced my knowledge. I want to thank the instructor. Advantages: covers a wide range of subjects and you gain a basic understanding of various applications. Moreover, links and guidance are also introduced to get deeper, which is nice. Disadvantage: I would have liked to see some training examples or at least a final project like a pdf file that we write the codes of to use the methods we learned. Again many Thanks!

Thanks to Brother Nauman for this amazing LateX course. He explained each topic very clearly and concisely. I didn't have any problem understanding topics. I would like to request him to add one video about the header, footer in the presentation. Best of Luck.

very well structured, with good and easy to follow examples. This course is a good starting point to get familiar with Latex and start with your documents. Also the additional hints were to more information are very useful. Thank you

i am very happy with detailed explanation. its really good for beginner. Specially happy with section 7 as its very useful to draw figures in graph theory. I can feel the involvement of instructor that's the best part of the course. Now,i am excited to use LaTeX for creating my notes with equations, code and figures. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

This was an excellent introduction to the core features of Latex. The course is rather short and could have been more comprehensive. Finding and creating new BibTex citation styles, for example, would have been welcome. Regardless, this course is a valuable resource and I am glad to have made the purchase.

I have given 5 stars to this course and the instructor because they deserve it. I have learnt a lot by doing this course when I started this course at that time, I was 0 (Zero) but now I can create my reports in Latex. I’ll recommend this Latex course for everyone. The explanations by the instructor were best. Hats off to you sir.

Perfect, so far. He moves quickly, but he's clear. I like it and think it's structured well for use as a reference later. * Now that I've completed the course I can say with confidence it was a good course. I am doing all of my homework at school with it to learn how to use it proficiently. I take business and CSE courses, so I'm using a broad range of features. I knew LaTeX existed and had used bits like \rightarrow for some Discrete Math homework a few semesters ago but knew nothing about it in the larger context. I think I had stumbled across the fact that Donald Knuth wrote it, whatever it was, a while back. So, I was a newbie going into the course. I feel like he taught me how to fish LaTeX and now I can feed myself well enough. Some things I have done with this course as the foundation seed: Two sets of homework in my AI class that included me creating a custom template, albeit an informal one that I have to Save As and replace the changed bits. I use enumerate to \input other .tex files which hold the content for the current homework to get a more appropriate looking numbering system for the homework questions. I've modularized parts for when the professor wants something particular. For example: He wants our names on the back of the paper too, so I made a .tex file that puts my name and email smack in the middle of the page, nice and big. I simply ewpage \input{center-name}, and I'm done with that. If I ever need to reformat it I can do it in center-name.tex and go on with my life. My next homework will include graph and tree figures which he covered in this course. I just finished homework in Systems Analysis where I needed to include tables, formulas, and a Gantt chart. I was able to include all of those things using the same template I use in my AI class. The only change I made to the format was to just use the normal \section and \subsection structure since the homework format fit it well. I was able to include helpful packages to do things like add a caption to the Gantt chart and make it show on its own page in landscape. So... Take this course if you are brand new to LaTeX. Can't speak to people who already know something about it except to say I have found it easy to go back and drop into the videos for reference as I built my documents. I can't say that about some other video courses I've taken. I'm on the hunt now for a course that gets deeper into it. Questions I haven't been able to find consistent answers to: What do the different document classes look like in a basic form? I would love to see sample documents that use each class without including things foreign to them. How do I write my own document class? The information is out there, but I'm too new to really understand what's going on. How can I force whitespace between components? The standard answers don't always work, probably because they refer to commands for particular classes, so it's been painful and time-consuming to go the trial and error route. I have some pretty ugly LaTeX in my docs to get things separated from each other and not jammed up together or overwriting each other. How can I consistently flow text around figures, tables, etc. and place them "here" {h} in the doc? The answers I find online are unreliable, something I attribute to not knowing enough about how the documents actually work and which classes the commands apply to. Wrapfig doesn't work consistently for me, nor do the t b h tags, etc. Good and good. One of the most useful courses I've taken on Udemy. - Jeff

One can expect a steep learning curve form this course. Instructor is very quick in responding to queries. Referral to different online resources is very valuable and professional. The instructor is not at all monotonic and speaks very professionally making the course easy to follow and understand. I consider a section on inserting diagrams and figures is missing and a feature update would make this course a complete package. The material used in this course is even useful for slightly experienced users of Latex as was the case with me. Thanks Dr. Nauman

Really amazing course, I really loved it. Highly recommended. I hope you can update the course with a part related to " Adding pictures and controlling sizes and positions of the pictures. It is very important part. Thanks brother Mohammad Nauman.
