I'm getting the ideas, and there isn't too much information to be not confusing. But I spend a lot of time figuring out things that could have been explained more clearly and fixing errors and ambiguities in the presentation, like whether something was a l or a 1, and the place where a : should have been an =.

Good course over all. Only one minor issue. Got too creative with the challenges, Challenges should be base on very easy premises that can be quickly created, repeated, and allow to single step additions to the script that build up to a detailed script. Repetition builds familiarity and natural skill progression.

it was good course for the people want to add more linux skills, few of the some of the good tricks have found in this course are the command substitutions and passing arguments, etc.. any whey it is very good course for the newbes and experts.

I simply loved this course and it’s instructor. If you read this, take the course- you won’t regret it. It is very informative and entertaining at the same time. I have taken other courses on bash shell scripting before, but this is the one I loved most. Practical approach, challenging homework and great life advice as a bonus! Some of the challenges I completed with the help of ChatGPT and Bard for debugging my scripts, so I learned more about AI tools along the way as well.

It was an amazing course for beginners & to brushen up our skills. The instructor is well experienced & very skilled at explaining concepts. However it takes more time than the required & has covered very little in that 8.5 hours. But still HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for beginners.

Excellent instructor with great knowledge, content is substantial and covers many areas, script examples are most useful and very well presented giving the student time to mirror the exercises and absorb the lessons.

Once we got started working on the materials to be covered, I have found this to be a very good course. I am also studying Python concurrently and this course helps me to have a better understanding of that. I hope there is another or follow up course with more detail so I can do it also.

Finora si mantiene ad un livello di complessità troppo basso, ovviamente per la mia preparazione. Credo che a breve si comincerà a fare sul serio. Mi riservo la facoltà di alzare il mio giudizio a fine corso.

Hands down, one of the best courses on Udemy ever !! Even if you are an experienced linux user this is much to learn and take away from this course, hopefully Ahmed could make a, intermediate to advance topic on this course or even on linux security. But overall thank you Ahmed !!

Certainly a great course to take for anyone who wants an introduction to Bash scripting, however, it definitely is not a comprehensive course. There are a lot left out that could be covered. Nonetheless, a good one.
