Figma is a very powerful application that runs online. There are virtually no platform boundaries when it comes to using figma because you can design within a web browser or using their desktop application made for windows and macs. Figma is similar to Sketch and Adobe XD but is the more powerful of the three when it comes to team collaboration and responsive, fast paced design.
This course will cover user interface designing using the powerful tools within Figma. In the first section, I'll cover the Figma interface and where you can find powerful tools like constraints to make your designs responsive, and components to build a library of design elements to use throughout your projects. I'll also go over real-time team collaboration and how you can use figma to work closely with others in the same project.
Later on I will guide you through designing and prototyping a "Chef's Recipes" App which will include multiple artboards, custom icon designs, editing images and text, and everything else you need to create a polished realistic design.
Please join me as a beginner in design or as a seasoned UI/UX designer wanting to switch from other tools like Sketch or Adobe XDWho this course is for:
  • User Interface designers
  • Web Designers
  • Graphic Designers
  • UX Designers
  • Beginners looking to get into the UI/UX field

Very good course if you are new to figma and ux/ui design. Almost every button in figma is explained. Sometimes there is lack of comments on hot keys (because the author is a bit fast sometimes) but if you have head on your shoulders, it's not a problem. Thank you for this introduction to ux/ui design, Caleb.

I really enjoyed this course. It's short and packed with all the relevant information you need to get started with Figma.I took this course as a webdevloper and was interested in a tool to make my own designs. After taking this course i am sure that this tool and this course was the best way to learn rapidly how to make own designs. The instructor made this course very well. The content is good and he explains very well. Also he has a good pace and its very easy to listen and learn from him. Thanks for this course, Taleb - I really liked it.

Covered the Basics well. I would have liked to now more about components and how to utilize them in a real project. Maybe build a design system along the way.

Excellent course. Very practical and hands on. Caleb goes above and beyond to show you that he really wants to get involved and be a part of your learning experience. Good job!

Yes, the coursework is amazing. I am learning a lot of things. Just I would like to give a suggestion here that if the commands for windows also appear on the screen then it would be a better help.

Liked the course. This is the basics. Would have liked it more if he talked more about best practices, design systems and responsive designs using frames. But overall good course.

I tried don't write review early of my course. And now I almost finish my Figma course. So I can say this is really nice one :*)I'm looking for another lesson from you !I used to learn another design tool which called 'sketch'.sketch was nice tool. but since I took this course I found 'Figma' is Ultimate program ever for Web/App design.thanks for letting me know that !

This course is good for beginners willing to learn the basics and other perks Figma offers. Caleb explains it very clear. During the course, I customised the entire the app which is why it took me longer to finish. But as you continue the course, Caleb recommends you to customise it anyway so why not start with a few images, your personal fonts and sizes and implement these during the course.

course is excellent. but please update the course like figma added animations. so please make a tutorial on that thanku

GREAT COURSE! Everything is perfectly designed, explained and planned. No "water information" about nothing and at the same time to jumping from one topic to another. A lot of useful resources and files. Caleb, thanks a lot, that was perfect!

Really good course to get your head around Figma if you're going to switch from Sketch. Very good tips given by the teacher, and easy to follow. Very recommended.

This is a good class for teaching you how to use Figma to build wireframes and prototypes. After taking this course, I feel comfortable and well equipped to build a prototype. I recommend this course for sure.
