Experience as a Developer
My friends and I started playing World of Warcraft when I was 14. We had a guild and we decided to create a website for us like other teams had that time. That was when I started learning web development. I started out with PHP and during University years I gained knowledge in Java, C, C++, too.
After I finished my Master studies I worked for various companies. I gained solid Java knowledge at one of the biggest outsourcing companies. I took part in developing and maintaining high traffic travel-agency sites, removal company websites and government projects. I also have experience in Front-end, A/B testing, Cloud and Agile methodologies. I worked with monoliths and microservices, too.
More about me
Really like to learn something new every day. I'm really interested in Reactive programming, IoT, Kotlin and Cloud trends.

The course was developed well. The lecturer taught the concepts well. I enjoyed the course and learned a lot. I would suggest adding a quiz after each lecture that covers or introduces and new topic and maybe and ending quiz to end the section. This would be a big ask but maybe at the end of hero section do one more final project to cover everything that you have taught us. (maybe a game or some sort of project that gets us to use everything.) Maybe cover intro to web and databases would be cool too. Otherwise I recommend this course!

I find this course very amazing. Explanation is very Simple and easy to understandable. Very beginner friendly and 98% all topics are covered. Sandor almost completely explained every topic. Course is very well structurize. He answers all the Queries i asks him. But i think some more practice sections can be added in expert sections & multithreading can be little more explained & may be lacking some practice section part.

98% of the course is really well structured and contains a lot of real life examples that really give you a head start on how to use Java for programming in real life. The 2% that needs to be improved is the volatile part 2 example which is a bit confusing and the Thread Pools lectures can be improved with some coding lectures. The theory is really well presented for Thread Pools, but nothing beats practice when it comes to learning something. Overall, I recommend this course to anyone, beginners and professionals alike, since it contains a lot of useful information which is really well presented by Sandor.

Good pace and a fairly deep explanation of the topic. Clear and concise conclusions at the end of each topic. I would also like to note the practical tasks. I think that the course is good not only for beginners but also for those who want to improve their Java skills, structure knowledge, and fill in the gaps.

I'm a C++ dev that wanted to learn Java, so the beginning of the course wasn't new to me. However, there are a lot of things that are different from C++, so this course gave me a great overview. The instructor knows the topic very well, and was able to show it in a simple and understandable manner. I like the concept how he begins the example with "How not to do it", and then shows the right way. I personally would like to see more DIY examples, as those two mini projects Hangman and The Great Robbery App. The lessons are short so they can keep your attention. Great job!

It is great. But it seems to be missing lectures at the end. I dont see all the optional lectures or multithreading or security which is kind of not great because now I have to find a different Java course to learn that.

Complete and well explained content. Coding parts are easy to follow and replicate. It is perfect for beginners with no background on Java programming: you'll learn everything from the very basis, and this is really important (from my point of view) to build those needed strong foundations to build up strong programming skills.

Really great explanations. Fluid pacing, easy to understand and great coding examples for learning. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because it's not 100% finished; it's missing multithreading, concurrency and the last section entirely. Not sure how frequently it's updated, but will definitely be checking back. Thanks so much - I understand functional programming and lambdas a lot better thanks to your course!

Due to clear speech I can rush on with double-speed and still get the content. Beside that, it is a broad-ranging course - one gets a lot of input on various topics to make you fluent in Java. The parts are updated frequently and *the real asset* are the step-by-step coding examples which are nicely crafted and thoroughly explained. Why not 5 stars? Well the quizzes are a bit "lame" and not very demanding, and some later topics are a bit shallow, maybe because the it would be very labor intensive to update parts or whole video clips. I definitely recommend this course to everyone who wants to learn Java from scratch or brush up their old Java knowledge.
