Course Description

Q: Is it possible for me to learn query writing against MS SQL Server database, even if I don't have any basics of DBMS?
A: Yes! you can learn and this course is perfect for those who are absolute beginners in MS SQL Server technology. In this course we are going to learn every thing from scratch i.e., right from installing MS SQL Server management Studio, creating database, tables, understanding relationships, performing basic insert, update, delete and select operations, using basic builtin functions till all types of joins.
We will also understand how to write different kinds of stored procedures and user defined function. Then we will go for writing sub querieswhich includes scalar, multi valued and correlated sub queries.
Moving ahead we see the programming logic in query writing using T-SQL and understand how to write conditional statements in your large complex stored procedures. And finally we will try to understand the advanced concepts like views, scope identity function, transactions and triggers.
So, I ensure you that you will enjoy each and every minute of the videos by learning something new

Audio if first part very bad, makes it nearly impossible to listen to.

I am new to SQL and came here to learn the best and get a change in my career. Hope my expectation would be met

I LIKE THE DETAILS FROM ZERO TO KNOW AS MUCH AS I NEED TO, AND HE IS DOING IT, THANKS

Very well done. I was able to follow along with a database of my own! Looking forward to utilizing these tools to build some very valuable reports and add meaningful impact to my professional skillset. Additionally, I will say that Manzoor is very attentive toward his students. Anytime I had a question he was quick to answer within a day or so.

Course content is good, but video quality is very bad. If possible update the Video

Outstanding teaching style.

This is a really good class, and was a natural segue after taking a really introductory course on Udemy.Manzoor goes into great detail, and since he shows exactly what he's doing on video, it's easy to follow along and not get lost as sometimes happens in live instructor-led courses.I think I know enough now to be well positioned for a job with more emphasis on SQL Server than Excel or Access. I've worked with SQL for 10+ years, but not with SQL Server that much.

He is explaining very briefly with examples. he covered all the topics. very nice

Si sembra proprio adatto a meyes i'm thinking that this course is what i need

This course' certificate could be improved and stated in a better way.It mentions total time of videos of this course on it and undermines the additional time and effort put in by students (surely greater than 4 hours of videos). It exclusively shows/tags that the student has done ONLY 4 hours of course or effort to earn this course/knowledge.Somehow this course' certificate leaves you feeling less important compared to other similar courses and this makes this course less attractive/valuable.It states: "This is to certify that (XXX-name) completed 4 hours of Learn MS SQL from scratch online course on DD-MM-YYYY".Rather all other completion certificates I have received on Udemy would state / have stated: "This is to certify that (XXX-name) completed (COURSE NAME) online course on DD-MM-YYYY".

I've just started and the content is easy to follow. I'd like to see the videos updated to current versions of SQL though.

Hands down THE BEST COURSE I have taken at Udemy. Manzoor rocks this topic, with solid examples and hands-on learning experiences. The tools provided will allow students to build live databases, not toys. This is a great course!!
